This one have very little changes "visually", but hopefully people experience better fps (slightly) as I optimized one thing related to ground textures. Also it got some new houses south of the village (also part of the mission Last run, SFP is released with 11 missions..check them out! ;) )... and you can see the road network have been started for the main city that will be futher south. I am still considering how big cities to make, since thats a a huge FPS killer and people already complaining, so we see.- 568 replies

Perhaps the most importat day in a Swedish Viking's life is midsummer. So here comes our latest release right before the beta that will break everything, enjoy it while it last ;) So what does our release contain? Scripting features: Backblast on AT weapons, flashbangs. Ability to shoot smoke rounds with the Carl Gustav. Wamako, african island still under development. Units Swedish infantry, 1981, 2015 and 2035 era- Wamako factions: Army, the government supported by Sweden. PNW, Nationalistic party that thinks the current government is too weak. Milita, former communist and today leaning towards more "al queda", just hate everything from "the west." Police and civillians. This means more headgear and stuff that is worth mentioning. Vehicles Hms Norrköping, patrol boat with "radar" that enables you to fire missiles on naval targets up to 5 km away. An-14, Soviet transport plane, also in bomber and civillian configuration. Tgb11,Tgb 1111, Tgb 20, 3 Volvo's all terrain vehicles, for transport and recon. Gruppbåt, small boat for squad level transport Retextures of helikopters, and the offroad. Weapons Flashbangs H&K MP 5, Kpist m45, Swedish K CJB MS, Pistol 88, glock 17 Remington 870 shotgun. Version 0.1.6 is currently being uploaded.. some of the newest things, not seen in the video released earlier is flashbangs and a "bomb plane" version of the cargo plane. Complete change log will come with the release on friday, around 13.00 CET.- 568 replies

Swedish Forces Pack 1.2 SFP 2015 & 1981 Public Beta It didn't feel that long time ago but I guess its been, sorry for the delay. Since the first public release (August 2010), we been constantly playing at Anrop.se and I am happy to say that we feel the 2015 scenario addons is fully playable at this stage. Some addons requires and will get more work, but it should be enough to keep people happy and enjoy the mod. So now its time to share the updated 2015, but as a bonus we will throw in the "second part" of the mod, the 1981 cold war scenario. Based on the submarine U-137 that went aground out a Swedish naval base 1981 our aim is to fcous on what would had happend if the Soviet decided to take it back with force. One island is included which we are far from completed, but its also a "call for help", we hope someone will download it, get inspired and join our crew. We really need someone thats skilled with making the satelite/mask mapping for the ground textures. The placement, missions we can do. Including (2015 scenario): * 2 Aircrafts, Saab JAS 39 Griffin and the Saab 105 in a "counter insurgency" configuration. * 2 helicopters, the NH 90 and the A109. * Swedish version of the famous Leopard 2 tank and the Swedish Cv 90 IFV. * The Xa-203 wheeled APC. * The RGM 32 patrol vehicle. * Soldiers in desert, woodland and winter uniforms. * Several weapons. * Combat boat 90 and the HMS Visby Corvette Including (1981 scenario): * Aj 37 Viggen Aircraft, famous for being the first plane outside NATO locking on the SR-71 Blackbird. * Sturkö Island * 3 helicopters, (Alouette II, Uh-1, Ch46) * The world famous "S-tank", the only tank without a turret. * The Ikv 91, support tank. * Several all terrain vehicles. Our team is also looking for new talents and we are looking to fill this positions: * ACE/config expert. (To make a separate fully compatible config for ACE) * More players * Mission editors * Config fixers * Documentation writers * More modellers, esp for the 1981 scenario * Textures, to improve our current models. * World editors, to help out with the Swedish island currently in progress. I am not so sure which are included, we often play missions that aren't suitable for general release since missing briefing and we do a oral briefing instead... But 5-40 I would say...- 568 replies

THANKS! i had no clue what it could been affecting it.. will try use less grass and also done another texture layer that seems to improve fps somewhat. I will slowly build up different regions, and improve the ones that already are.. but its very hard right now to get good results since need to pack, load arma3, make adjustment, export, pack, load arma3... so on just to get houses off the roads.- 568 replies

make sure they been "mapped", in the uv section. So the game knows how to draw the textures on top. Not sure I explained that very well, but had that issue myself and took some time to figure out it needed to be part of the uvmap.

What can I say about this? Well, fact is.. we don't have proper tools, and I was never good with this stuff to begin with. Keep your expectations really low.. Not sure when and at what stage we will release, it doesn't have much and we don't want to be known as the mod with just half done stuff, but then again.. I guess more than us are a bit tired of Stratis. On Sunday we will play our coop event on this island, after that I expect some feedback.- 568 replies

Flipper, not so high prioritized right now but I will try to include it for future releases. My advice is to look in the config viewer that BIS have, makes it easy to see things (even those we don't want to show).. but I will try make a nice pdf or something similar. Kaelies, added to the list. Very easy to fix, but also not so high priority.. What is high priority... this is :)- 568 replies

Why are we not seeing new A3 maps yet?

OFP/ArmA community never accepted "not yet possible" right? ;) While I am not so skillfull as you guys with the textures, infact I am really bad at it.. what I done to get objects in is pretty simple. Take a working arma2 model, save it with arma3 path. For instance I took a swedish house from our mod and saved it as: p:\a3\structures_f\households\slum\Slum_House01_F.p3d Now visitor knows its a house, binarize knows its a house and ingame I get an arma3 house.. so far I got all the slumhouses and two trees working without any problems with position (some of the other trees are floating in the sky)... the reason why we haven't released any island is simply because we didn't have anything good "in store".. -

I have a problem with CBA as a addonmarker. What I done is a reskinn of the Off-road to a UN vehicle, now this works perfectly. I just disabled the eventhandlers from bis (that had one init for the random textures). But with extended eventhandlers, I do get random textures, which isn't what I want. My code: So please, can you "not force" your addon over mine? -

My friend wanted me to help him with the "Ambient_Combat_Manager" to work with our addons.. it didn't seem to work. So I had a look and it seems its hardcoded to work only with bis factions.. :/ So i decided to do my own.. and now its late but I got the first things rolling as I wanted.. for now the video will do the introduction and I will add more. Release will be stand alone.. probably next week sometime, this is just too great to "try" some new mods and addons ZrGksiuFdig -

First I thought this was related to my boat addon but it doesn't happen on BIS soldiers. So I thought it was the "alpha layers" but tried move to top/bottom. Copy and paste.. Running out of ideas here, my soldiers transforms into smurfs when looking straight on them :(
