WOW! that looks like something out of star wars! (and this is something I want to fly )
-
Wow, you guys are really stretching this one. I know you guys don't like America but we can still shoot back. According to all the news I've read the US forces engaged in a firefight with the 4 people in the house. It's also pretty obvious that the US forces would of wanted to capture these people alive. I've got no doubt that the 4 people in the house engaged the coalition soldiers that were approaching. There were also reports of sporadic gunfire going across Baghdad. The civilians are celebrating.

Sweep wing fighter?

Breaking news!!! (cue dramatic music) MOSUL, Iraq — Saddam Hussein's sons Udai and Qusai (search) were likely killed Tuesday when U.S. soldiers stormed a house in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, U.S. military sources told Fox News.
-
What does that have to do with Iraq?
-
If I remember right the V2 rocket had to be filled before it was launched, making it very suceptible to air attack because the whole place could easilly go up.

Isn't he the same guy who made that cartoon that predicted Pakistan would nuke India because of this war?
-
Thanks. Better start wearing a helmet.

On a related note... I just hope I never have a close encounter with an AA missile.
-
Plus they've incorporated HMTS in their fighters, and have the most maneuverable fighters in the world. Superb for close combat. But if we can knock them down from 40 miles away...
-
I like #1, but they both look very realistic.
-
Fun thing was, I flew over (according to the, map) an allied battalion, it was crazy, the whole damn battalion took shots at me, I got hit by AA fire first and they fired a couple of missiles at me too. I ejected but was RS'ed. Â Anyway, the whole FF thing could have been a bug. I doubt it was a friendly unit. I've never heard of AI commiting fratricide in F4, I don't even think it's in the program. Of course the player can do it though
-
Oh you mean a book revolving around the 1985 CWC plot?
-
Well, friendly fire is realistic, but your troops won't shoot at you in F4 unless you bomb a certain number of them.
-
I'm not sure what you mean, you want a book about infantry and stuff, or about the video game?
-
AIM-120s do that, in F4 at least. so it might not be realistic
-
Ah, ok, that must of been it then. I can't blame the sailors. I got pissed off when some news show did a report on a sleeping pilot. Apparently someone brought a video camera on a flight (prohibited under CFR §91.21) and taped a pilot sleeping at the controls. Of course they didn't tape the co-pilot flying the airplane (making it perfectly legal and a common practice in airlines), but they still decided to make a story about it. I guess they don't think the airlines have had enough economic trouble, they have to broadcast BS stories about them too.

Really? I distinctly remember the royal navy stopping showing BBC news on their ships because they just kept reporting casualties.
-
HAHAHA I stayed up late playing that game once. it was pretty fun.
-
Wasn't the BBC taken off of royal navy ships because it was too anti-war?
-
AIM-120 AMRAAM ("Slammer") AIM-54C Phoenix Both can knock down a target 30-40 miles away, depending on the condition. Put some AIM-54Cs on an F-14 and you'll have air superiority in a few days.

I think that only applies to churches. Just because you belong to a religion doesn't mean you don't have to pay taxes.
-
And he ws talking about 2003!? btw, it still recquires registration to view your link Warin

When are you guys going to publish the book?
