That picture is very depressing. IMO, quality > quantity. If the missions are good I'll follow, but pumping out one a day doesn't allow for much quality.

Probably not in the UK, but in places where there's a gun problem then definately.

Thats why I didn't like any of the special ops missions. I hated stealthing around the place, taking down an entire enemy squad.

That's another thing that will bring be back to OFP. It's like a real war. You're not going bouncing anywhere. You can only take down a whole squad if you get them by surprise.

I think I've found a bug. The police shoot you when you break the law. Or is that supposed to happen?

I don't think that type of plane CAN fly 17km lol j/k

AI teamwork is much better in SP. The enemy is still relatively stupid, but its still fun.

I just got done with the SP demo. It was FUN. I love doing urban warfare stuff, especially going in and out of buildings, clearing rooms and stuff. Just fun. I'll probably pick it up once the price goes down. $40 US is a bit to steep for me for anything right now.

anyway, i wouldn't of taken the risk, but then again i wasn't in command.

Eh, I wouldn't of shot him down if it were over a populated area, unless he made a move or something. And even if it doesn't have a lot of fuel, he could still ram people, or cars.

I didn't like having to register, but I'm downloading now. I'm considering getting this game, just because I'm developing a taste for the arcade-ish recently.

But he could of killed a lot of people. He might not of brought down a building, but don't think that there weren't groups of people and the media taking his picture. Nicely packed together.

It's a stealthy snipery deal. You go into an occupied town and are supposed to take out the entire occupying force as a resistance sniper. Easier said than done. I haven't made a briefing or anything like that, no time (or knowledge ) yet. It's available here and it recquires resistance.

I'll play around with it more, see what I can and cant do. Also I was just thinking, since you can't just go out and buy a pilots liscense IRL, maybe you could just pass a test (ie. fly around the island and land again safely) to get your liscense while paying for the flight. Â Just my suggestion. PS - nice touch with the albert einstein characters in the game. but whats with the rude guy? (he says "stupid bus drivers") lol

So I was trying this mission and having a great time. This is a really fun thing to do, but I'm getting kinda bored without a pilots liscense Anyway, I get caught speeding and get pulled over. So I stop the bus and disembark, wondering what's going to happen. I hear some sirens and start getting orders and stuff, which I follow (just to disembark, which I already did). Anyway, I hear this helicopter coming. So I zoom in on it and WHAM!! I estimate about 20 civilians including me get taken out by a rocket run from some UN helicopter. What happened to a fine? Then it CTD'd when I quit the mission.

They're milking the movie black hawk down for all the money it's worth, appealing to all the 13 year olds who loved the movie because it had guns in it. If you call it black hawk down, make it an accurate depiction of what happened in Somalia. It's just disrespectful if you try to make money off of it.

You mean the multiplayer demo? I thought it was unrealistic, but I don't look to delta force for realism.

Well I designed it so you would infiltrate the town and maybe go up into an attic or something, then take them all out. I don't know how to put a player's start in an attic so I just put them outside the town. If you sit and wait a mech. infantry platoon will come along, but once you get all the guys in the town you can just end the mission. Thanks!
