    Campaign Ante Portas

There are english subtitles and task description is always visible through map - in the list of the tasks. ;) The Ural must not be destroyed. So this means, it can be damaged (like empty wheels, broken windows etc.) but not to be destroyed completely.

    Campaign Ante Portas

Yes, you have succeeded the task "Ambush Ural", but "Mission failed" due to the destroyed Ural. NAPA commander (Lukas Ovecka) said in cut-scene about that - Ural must stay undamaged. This is also writen in "Ambush Ural" task description. There is also possibility of Lukas's death - he must stay alive for further mission flow. These small bug-fixes as additional taskHints will be available in update (released soon).

Thanks also for your feedback. Together with bug-fixes will be polished also english translation. :D

    Campaign Ante Portas

You know. Not all missions/campaigns are for all players. Some people likes the stealth advance, some likes missions with choppers/planes and some people likes tanks or missions with troops only. This campaign (and especially the first mission) is for people which likes stealth missions. You have unlimited variations how to find primary target on the base ... and then continue in the mission. The only one condition is to be stealthily. ;)

@Coffeecat: Those minor fixes will be implemented. Thanks for your notes. When opened the parachute? It's on you man. :) In A2 was there on GUI one nice counter with altitude, but in A2:OA was disabled (I really don't know why), so the player have now only reference about the current altitude on the GPS which is accessible through the map together with current position. There you see also the landing zone, which is also the zone to find any NAPA contact. Looks like I must add a lot of hints there.

It's a stealth mission dude. And you don't know where exactly is your target (as people are walking usually). Try to find some cover there and observe base.

Thanks for this report. I will fix it soon, but now you have still a lot of time to load any saved position when you see the "MISSION FAILED" message.
  8. @skiline5: CSLA Mod will require Arma 2: Combined Operations which means, you need to have both - original Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead games. This is due to the Chernarus and Utes landscape (from A2) which are more suitable for our troops together with AFMC units. A2:OA is then required due to the new features which aren't implemented in A2, as are for example backpacks. Everything (together with minimal version of both games) will be clear in the day of release - included ReadMe.
  9. :D Anyway all other detailed pics from different angles are on our Facebook Fan site.

  11. FIA And when we are presenting the new planes for the ÄŒSLA and AFMC factions, let me please you to present also the plane for the FIA. It's well known Antonov An-2 which was in Chernarusia used for the personal cargo and in farming. Rebels from FIA has in their rows also few people which were in the civilian life pilots. So now they can provide some observations over the Chernarusian woods and they can also use those An-2 (known as "Andula") for carry out any supplies etc. But the number of those planes is limited of course. More pics on Facebook Last but not least ... the small whisper about what can be released later in some upcoming patch. :) On the screen below you can see only a part of ****. So, stay tuned for later news. More pics on Facebook CSLA Studio http://www.csla-studio.info Our fansite on FACEBOOK
  12. CSLA (Czechoslovak People's Army) Brand new models of powerfull MiG-29A Fulcrum will be also included in the initial release. The model was completely reworked (from the ArmA1) with many improovements as are for example functional flaps/covers for the air intakes of turbines. Those are closed when the plane is taxiing on the runway. In this moment the small intakes on the upper side are opened as secondary air intake for the turbines. Once the plane takes off those secondary intakes are closed and main intakes under fuselage are opened as in the reality when the plane want to start from the field runway. More pics on Facebook AFMC (Armed Forces of the Midland Coalition) As the AFMC is the small coalition of few countries, each country have own budget for the armory. From this reason you can see in this alliance mainly US and UK arsenal as are for example Land Rovers, rifles FN FAL, APCs M113, Blackhawks with Littlebirds and AH-1T Cobras. Now you may see also first plane for the AFMC alliance - A-10 Thunderbolt II known as the "Warthog". This plane is main opponent for the ÄŒSLA planes as are L-39ZA Albatros and Su-25K Frogfoot. AFMC doesn't have now any proper plane as to be opponent for the czechoslovak MiG-29A Fulcrum, but ... More pics on Facebook

@Undeceived: Thanks for your suggestions. Nice ideas, but I'm not sure about my "more advanced" skills. :D @Koga1211: Yes, I have this in my later plans. But probably as you know, I have a lot of work with other guys on our ÄŒSLA Mod. So those improvements must wait. ;)
  15. As we have limited human resources and lack of free-time, this means that any campaign will not be released in the first version. Maybe later in some upcoming patch.

    A2D Editor

Hmmm ... strange. That Win7 is 32 or 64b system ? I'm using all the small sw from my Editor's suite on 64b system. I have them installed in the same folder as Arma 2, but of course in separated folders. Everything working well without any registering etc. Those programs were developed on another PC with Visual Studio installed, so any dependecies are excluded. Let's try to clean your registry from that files, delete both editors and then try it to download, install and launch again and as admin from the beginning. Be sure also about allowed restriction for the Help files. I don't have any new idea now. :bored:
  17. It's no reason for demo or early release as we never do this before. We are now finishing with some things but any ETA or direct date isn't known yet. When will be finished, then will be released. (Next patches with new vehicles, features and missions will follow as was for A1)
  18. We have now prepared a lot of different backpacks with new features (for example backpack with canister with capacity of 20 liters to be able refuel any vehicle with critical minimum of fuel etc.) which are not functional under Arma 2. But when you have A2+OA or CA you are able to use them. :)
  19. FIA is an independent guerilla force fighting against both, the west and east regime. Their unexpected ambushes are able to corrupt usual enemy transport but also to inflict higher casualties during attacks on lightly guarded opponent bases. They try to gain control of local terriroty, moving in small groups on light vehicles such as BTR-40, armed Datsun and mostly armed with captured AK-47 rifles, PK machine guns and RPGs. • Game modes SP & MP missions like Warfare, Domination and various COOP style missions • Features Various backpacks with new features, removable optics, static fireposts (like mortar) with possibility of unmouting and transfering to the different positions etc. CSLA Studio http://www.csla-studio.info Our fansite on FACEBOOK
  20. AFMC (Armed Forces of the Midland Coalition) is a fictional BLUFOR opponent representing western bloc armed forces. Their main task was to stabilize the region and assure security for the civil population. Equipment of the AFMC army is a mixture of western weapons like FN FAL and M16 assault rifles, FN MAG machine guns and vehicles like 5t trucks, Land Rovers, M113 APCs. The older M60A3 and M1A1 main battle tanks are used for front-line combat. Air transport of AFMC troops is ensured by MH-60, AH-6 transport helicopters and close air support for ground forces is provided by AH-1T helicopters and A-10 attack jets.
  21. • Factions CSLA (Czechoslovak People's Army) is a faction that features ground and air forces of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (CSSR) from the 1980s. CSLA's role was to be the shield of Warsaw Pact armed forces which was a result of its geographic location, with NATO/AFMC forces stationed in Germany to the west. The main objective was to defend the CSSR and the whole Eastern Bloc from western aggression. Ground forces consist of a number of foot and motorized divisions, para and reconnaissance units. All units are equipped with vz.58 assault rifles, vz.59 machine guns and other personal czechoslovak and eastern bloc made weapons. For transport, deployment and combat, the famous Tatra cargo trucks are used, along with OT-64 SKOT, OT-65, BVP-1 and BVP-2 armoured personnel carriers. The main strike force consists of T-72 main battle tanks. Skies over the "red" territory were guarded by Mi-24 Hind and Mi-8 helicopters, Su-25, L-39 ground support jets and Mig-29 air superiority fighters. CSLA is on the OPFOR side for historical reasons.
  22. Anyway, whole ÄŒSLA is on the OPFOR side but some MP dogfight mission will be available in release under A2:OA+CO.
