    Only problem with the whole "Ze yuu-es-aye vent intu Irak to get ze oil, ja?" argument is that America has a giant field of oil in Colorado I believe. So going into Iraq is not because they're low on oil. And I'd venture a guess that America, for the time being, has enough oil already.

    When will people realize that the US did not drag everyone by the collar. It's all voluntary! There's a reason they call it the "COALITION OF THE WILLING"!!!!!

    More like "coalition of random countries looking out for handouts or improve their relations towards the USA."

    Just look at the damn troop figures.

    If I was 505 I would definitely provide the english version through download distribution. That way they could release it much earlier than Q1 07. I really hope they're not going to translate it into Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish etc etc.. almost every1 here would prefer an english version anyway.

    Do you hear me 505? ONLINE DISTRIBUTION and ENGLISH language  smile_o.gif  ASAP!

    That would be quite a feat considering only hockey and children's games are translated to nordic languages.

    But the point I was making is that if you really want to be able fanatically embed yourself in a reality, you shouldn't have the ability to change character/perspective whenever you like. Then it becomes less sim and more whim.

    It also means the mission maker does not need to compromise the mission in order to make it less frustrating for the player itself.

    After all translating all those briefings in decent english (not babelfish senselessness) is quite some work to do in your spare time.

    In my humble opinion some newer machine translators fare surprisingly well these days with german written in formal tone (as opposed to typical forum postings with less than stellar grammar).

    It's not going to be pretty but it at least should give me some kind of general idea what to do. wink_o.gif

    Battles in Demo are quite harder than Rome it seems? I was taken by complete suprise in the Agincourt battle when 2 units of heavy cav attack me in the rear.  crazy_o.gif  smile_o.gif

    Yeah, they pretty much annihilated me the first time and i havent been able to keep enough men to alive to take out the remainders when the attacks are over. sad_o.gif

    Though I do suspect the flanking is scripted for that specific battle instead of AI figuring it out by itself.

    Q1 means the english version for UK and most of europe will be released between 1.1.2007 - 31.3.2007.
