Racist? That's a new one.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4959008.stm Now combine this with China's growing interest towards latin america and I can imagine all those wannabe-pinochets rubbing their hands together already..

Some random irrevelant american conservative pundit, do'nt really see why this warrants a separate thread.

http://www.crooksandliars.com/stories....er.html Kind of reminds of the DeLay booking picture does'nt it?
-
At least it means you have to pretend that you actually care about public opinion.

Zargawi is just one of those guys who get brought up so certain people will start to believe that there is actually some kind of clear goal, some kind of mr. big whose death will mean the death of insurgency. In movies maybe..

Just wait till you have enough money for a new gfx adapter too and avoid those hybrid messes.

I think DIY nukes are bit too far off in the future.. Yeah, because it would be the most senseless waste of tax dinars ever to use dirty bombs even by goverment standards. Dirty bombs are probably the most overrated weapon ever made. Part of the problem is that Iran might also profilirate their goods to other countries. Not fun to find that you have been fighting in the wrong country.. say for 4 years? Still, dirty bombs are still least of my worries. And of course there is the fact that applying pressure to Iran ("uh guys.. could you stop violating human rights and sponsoring terrorist groups?") will get tad harder if they get nukes. Not that I would feel very patriotic after 30 years of Saddam either..

How about a Fiat ducato max driven across EU borders by some happy hezbollah wannabe-martyr? Just read about shia religious history, anybody fanatic about that ought to be real big on the ultimate self-sacrifice. Well, they did keep drumming those but if you are going to bomb countries over handing money to palestinian militants there wont be much left unbombed in the middle east.

<span style='font-size:2pt;line-height:100%'>.. sorry</span>

I really doubt any significant amounts of fallout would be released by couple of tactical nukes with low payloads. And as for Musharraf.. he might just take the Hama approach to the fundamentalists if things got really out of hand. I think the point is not to let them have nukes in the first place.

Apparently the average lifetime of a new iraqi PM is less than a year so far. Not that this is anything new, pre-saddam republican Iraq PMs had a pretty similar turnover rate too. If the wikipedia article is anything reliable this new guy (Jawad al-Maliki) has'nt excatly been making too many friends among the sunnis either.

Right then.

I suppose you would get the best quality with a TFT monitor that has both DVI-D and D-sub connectors. (got mine used and it cost less than your average switcher thingie new) And yeah, all real server operators use SSH.

Obviously none due to legal reasons. And why the hell can't that list be in text format? Would be much more easier to look up people/nationalities.. damn reporters. EDIT: This is just comedy gold: http://online.wsj.com/public....tff_top One more comfy useless goverment post, yay!

Or the 7th anniversary of the columbine school massacre.
-
Interesting.. there seems to be even twice as more chinese people than iraqis on that list.

Far cry instincts is a piss poor way to determine X360's performance as it is a mere conversion of the original far cry for XBOX.
-
Only if the mission maker has been lazy, creative application of randomized mg bunkers and patrol routes will make life hell for the human players.
-
Well.. they fixed that in OFP:E already..

Wrong, the best tank killer is a LGB dropped from 10.000 feet while the tanks crew are hiding in the desert at night far away from their vehicle because their obsolete land battle ships have become guaranteed coffins because they attract the attention of aircraft. Besides their role has been taken over as well by tank hunting helicopters like the Cobra, Apache and Hind. As a tank crew today other tanks are the least of your worries, keep an eye on the sky Or with most of today's wars the worst enemy of the tanker is some nervous looking guy hiding in a spiderhole holding his remote IED detonator..
-
Of course you have to factor in how many atgm-wielding light wheeled vehicles you can buy for the price of a single modern main battle tank..
-
I think the ATGM vehicles fill that role today.

I have a lot of problems with Oblivion... such as it being made for the consol and the PC gamers totally ignored. Not to mention the devs trying to sell crappy little mods that were finished long before the game was even released, thus should have been in the original game. Alsothe horrible, and rather large bugs still in the PC version... only going to prove that the 360 version was teh focus of the development. But one thing I will say... as easy as the main quest is, there are still a massive amount of other quests. Many of which are a lot of fun, and very intresting. You can spend a LOT of time playing the game and never even touch the main quest (doing other quests of course... no need to go dungeon hoping, there pretty much all the same). OB is a good game, but if the PC version was properly moddified to play on the PC, it would have been a lot better. Its very obvious the PC version is nothing short of a consol game playing on the PC... which is a kick in the face to all of us Elder Scrolls gamers who supported the Elder Scrolls all these years when it was a PC series. Bethesda has sold out to the 360 crowed, and forogt about thoes who made OB possible..... Welcome to the free market.

There's a separate thread called "the middle east thread": http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=45634
