woah woah, im not ripping anything off these are models that are free to be downloaded, im not passing them off as my own, this is just a diversion while texturing is going on with my other stuff, i also want to test how far the coding in o2 will go, the authors want people to use the models so im not gonna argue :/ -

just make laser shaped models and texture them bright red/green and fire them like rockets -

i agree with the others, i spent ages trying to modify the blackhawk myself and it turned out pretty badly, he did a great job which would take a great deal to be bettered

going slowly, we may need to take on a couple more texturers to finish it

er its not made for vbs 1 its made as an addon for ofp

or decode one of the bis models from resistance and look at it in a hex editor and search for the proxies they might give you a clue, or just use the resistance models

gmax can export, with plug ins i had a .obj importer/exporter from somewhere before i got 3ds max

so basically i get asked to do a model and spend days making it, then a few days before its released while im being told you are coding my model and it should be finished soon you decide to change it, then i get told about an hour before the release that you arent using my model, how nice of you -

yep he decided to use another model, and i have no idea why, there was nothing wrong with my model i suppose he just wanted to have it as solely his addon :/ -
it wont target because it doesnt have this: airLock=true; in its config, this makes you able to target them but as i said makes ai use ffar's as the primary air to ground missile

there is no credit to me as they changed the model at the last minute which im pretty pissed about, theyve used a free model by the looks of it, ill be using my model to make an raf version so no hard work lost miles -
you can make missiles target both ground and air but the ai wont use them, i put them on the hokum im making with the new .cpp code (at-16 can target helos) and the ai wouldnt use them, they switched to the ffar's when attacking tanks, so it looks like it can only have one dedicated target

or look around for a .obj importer/exporter then export to .obj and then import that with 3ds max

well basically all you would need is something to tell you you were at 45 degrees and a bit of testing by the maker, as he can simulate different charges in the gun, to make one go faster/further than the other then he just loads the correct ammunition and a spotter gives a direction, think of the ka-50/bmp 2 kind of selecting process they have two separate 'magazines' in the gun both with separate characteristics so you can add 9 or 10 or more depending on the range differences you want, say every half kilometre up to 10km for ofp then slight adjustments in the angle will get what you need

im guessing youve somehow made .zip files open with word, you must have used the annoying 'open with...' feature on windows, i know theres a way to unnassociate them but i cant remember, they wont work as if i understand correctly you are trying to put zips into the addons folder which the game wont read....

im guessing youve somehow made .zip files open with word, you must have used the annoying 'open with...' feature on windows, i know theres a way to unnassociate them but i cant remember, they wont work as if i understand correctly you are trying to put zips into the addons folder which the game wont read.... -

Guided missile targeting inaccurate for helos'?...

i suppose you are talking about the v-80, the missiles on that go way over on anyones computer unless theres some magical coicidence and you blindly hit the target as they are really bad at tracking, and gun on the v-80 isnt auto it follows the cursor up/down -
its impossible to put two guns the coding just isnt there for it in ofp, as i said you can simulate it but not actually do it
