its not the other desert mod that mac and maarfy(sp?) are doing its the other one... Â http://www.opflashpoint.it/DESERTMOD/ and i severely doubt they got permission as ive never seen TJP give their textures away as it takes months for these guys to work their magic and for someone to stick white letters on and say its their is disgusting, and this mod even stole off of desert ofp (the good addon makers), fliper and frandsen and im sure theres countless others

if we are talking modern combat then it is the british army commandos who were the first elite team set up (there could have been some german teams but im not too sure) and AFAIK most american special forces were formed in 1942 after pearl harbour and the commandos had been going for about 5 years by then

the us marine corp had to decide between the apache and the AH-1W and the AH-1W won, unfortunately ofp only supports one type of detachable missile per vehicle so we wont be able to have hellfires and sidewinders for instance although for the HellFire/Maverick versions if we make some we could use stingers i suppose as they are tube launched
