the ingame speed is in kph in the config, so no need for a set rule there, anyway armour comparisons to ingame: BMP-1 = 19/22mm (hull/turret) armor=200; M1A1 = (no definate figures, but i did read once it had 720mm of armour on the front which was chobham armour) armor=900; M113 = (figures from 3/4 of an inch to 1 1/2 inches, so going from 2.6cm to an inch its about 19mm to 39mm) armor=150; T72 = (520mm/950mm against HEAT) armor=400; (armour thickness found from various sites)

the mtlb is a troop carrying amphibious apc with tracks and only machine guns for armament....and the m113 does exactly the same job (base model)

the east equivalent of the m113 would have been this... the west equivalent of the btr's are the lav's

theres also a PT-76 coming with the nam pack, not much of a chance against mbt's but a very well used russian light amphibious tank

jellybelly is working on a new blackhawk model, not sure if he will finish it by the time we update the MH-60's we are doing at the minute, but im guessing that will be another update

there will hopefully be a BTR-152 in the pack, we might be able to fit an aa gun on the back of that...

tank wheels dont turn to steer, so it wouldnt look like a car anyway

FW200 there are 5 forums in the breathe section, and only one of them is for oxygen

im with ktotte and ran on this issue, i think the O2 forum should be made public once O2 is released and the other forums released as the tools are released to the public, and keep the general there for any chat the people in the breathe program need to do...

i believe there are plans for an OH-6A Cayuse in the pack, wont be using capt moores model though....

you cant have a vehicle that has moving wheels and has missiles, it isnt supported by the ofp engine

well thats actually only a quarter of the full pack...

erm, im not sure as i have no idea what the size of the armour and troop packs will be, for the air pack...id have a guess at somewhere near 15-25 mb depending on how much we include, and thats a rough guess it might be a lot less

the downloads will probably be split up into air/nva-vc/american/armour but it looks like the different sections will be big, as mlods are about 4-5 times the size of odol models

the black hueys could be used for anything, even as resistance choppers, and ofpec is down for dns redirection or something

er...ofp doesnt have a set armour/damage value so its not mm penetration etc, so how could he use real world data? he should have known to scale it against the ingame units...

i have no problem with argentinians, i am english and seeing a ship burning with fellow country men inside is slightly disturbing, same thing for an american to see the twin towers collapsing in a gif im sure they would ask me to remove it, no hard feelings intended
