i think that bottom on is a dress uniform, the top one looks too clean too, for sailors they should probably lose the hat and get a bit dirty -
its an ok addon, dont see a huge lot of use for it in non canadian/scandinavian forces missions, if it was a completely new gun it would be great, but its just too much like the M16A2 from the game

hmmm that doesnt say anything about bombs, could the OV-10 actually carry any bombs?

ive never actually seen a bronco with all these weapons, they normally just had flares/survival kit/fuel tanks didnt they?

oh and it seems that the texture problem is only on computers with voodoo graphics cards, hope that helps

i havent mentioned how much firepower it should have, only how much damage it should have, and if there is any unchangable constant it should be to use the BIS damage values as a benchmark for any addon, their values are weighed up against all the other units in the game, all the soldiers, all the cars, the tanks so no its not my magical formula its BIS's magical formula to make all the damage in scale with all the units in the game at the minute i find the bronco nearly unplayable because why bother dropping bombs from this aiurcraft when i can do more damage in the uh-60 from bis? or the mi-17?(which is about as good a target as the bronco) and i dont even find the cannon makes up for it, shooting with the cannon is much less fun than with rockets or bombs

thats not actually the point, you are saying each of the bombs it carries has a 500lb warhead and yet it does the same damage as two 2.75 inch ffars which is totally wrong seeing as the average HE ffar has a 10lb warhead if you say its carrying these weapons you should at least get it so it acts realisticly in the ofp universe, a 500lb bomb should do exactly as the BIS bombs do, they made the game i think their damage values are going to be a hell of a lot more realistic, and yes dropping a 500lb bomb from 15 ft would destroy a t80 it would also destroy the plane you are flying most likely, the adats wasnt done realisticly, being able to target things when they are hidden is not realistic, but thats a limitation of ofp not your fault, there is no limitation in making the OV-10 as powerful as it should be, and making the bombs semi guided didnt really do much for me, i dont use them like that i would rather use them unguided like they are supposed to be so i just dont target, if you have the weapons out of whack with other units in the game in missions using the OV-10 there will be a noticable difference

there are a couple more flaws, the damage settings are completely wrong for ofp, and also the mk-82 bomb looks a little big (the bomb the A10 LGB uses is actually a model of the MK 82, so there was no need to make a new one) and there are huge differences in the damage: BIS 500lb bomb: hit=5000;indirectHit=3500;indirectHitRange=15; OV-10 500LB bomb: hit=1400;indirectHit=450;indirectHitRange=8; OV-10 250LB bomb: hit=900;indirectHit=250;indirectHitRange=5; BIS 2.75 inch Hydra(called zuni but its actually the 2.75 inch rocket) hit=700;indirectHit=300;indirectHitRange=3; DKM 2.75 inch hydra: hit=350;indirectHit=50;indirectHitRange=5; this means your 250lb bomb does just a little bit more damage than the bis 2.75 inch rocket which has about a 10lb warhead, for the next version it would be better if you fixed this, the only one you need to work out is the 250lb bomb but thats easy maths just give it: hit=2500;indirectHit=1750;indirectHitRange=7.5; and then the bronco weapon damage will fit in with the rest of the game

i would much rather a military type addon over a civilian addon

the p3d files are different, bis users a p3d compressor/optimizer, they havent yet released this so addon makers can only use mlod for the minute

i think you should be able to empty it inless than a minute easily, the gau-2b/m134 has a maximum fire rate of 6000rpm but is used at 2000rpm and 4000rpm (selectable), and i belive they carry 4000 rounds (http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/equip/m134.htm), you could set the cpp up like a rifle so that by pressing space you chose another gun mode like burst but have it full auto but with different rpm's so you could select the different rpm's -

that would be true apart from the fact bis left an early mlod ch-47 in the ch-47 .pbo, it has the first lod and the pilot/gunner but nothing else, it wouldve been nice to find out earlier but once flipers tool is out we will be able to use the whole p3d, it does help for making different versions though, then you just copy/paste once the tool is out -

i had the same problem with my p-51, i believe its because the back wheel is lower than the front two, you need to push z to get the back wheel off the floor before you have any chance of taking off, this means ai cant take off in old ww2 planes

probably not, if you dont know how to use any of the other programs its best to learn with o2, will be easier in the long run

er DKM are not the best texturers....its mainly just plain camo on their stuff, id have to say STT's hueys(gunships are my favorite) have the best textures ive seen from a third party vehicle addon
