its rof is 600rpm maximum on the infantry version of the FN MAG, 700-1000 on the M240, and 750 for the L7A2

if this program is made, it has to have a cfg ammo/weapons/vehicles classname searcher, so say if you start ofp and get the error "blah blah blah blah config\cfgvehicles\mygun" you could then search for that classname and delete the pbo, because just displaying it is not enough, as you would have to search through hundreds of pbo's looking for this name, which is made easier by the author tags, but not everyone uses them :/ so basically what fubar said, but display all the classnames and allow to search through the whole addons folder looking for the culprit of that pretty grey box on ofp start up

well, DKM made their own model and the scaling is wrong, as if you look at their mk 82 its actually a lot bigger than the bis one, probably best to use the BIS one as a base as itll be in scale with the rest of the game -

i dont see why people would use a mouse over mouse and keyboard, you have a lot more control over the helicopter with the keyboard, especially using the x and c keys, the handling was most likely (inadvertantly)optimized for full keyboard and mouse use, making 2 more versions of the whole pack (just mouse/couple of keyboard keys, and joystick) would probably send stt to the loony bin -

the mark 82 low drag (version in that picture) is actually in game already, its wrongly shown as the LGB for the A10, looks like all you have to do is scale up and down to get the rest of the models the paveways all look alike so if you make one model and texture it its then just a matter of scaling again, youll also have to make an M117 but its a horribly easy bomb to make , and i havent seen an AGM-84 anywhere -

well i just had a quick look through the configs, and theres nothing changing the handling there, the only things i can see that influence it are the speeds and weight, drakkens has a max speed of 305 kph and a weight of 3000, bas is a max speed of 235 and i cant find out the weight of the bas lb's because its binarized, i also just did a quick test (downloaded the latest version of drakkens lb) and i found it much easier to move around in ours, drakkens seemed more sluggish, i could spin the bas helo on the spot (nose facing the ground) from a flying start much easier (used that as a test as it shows how light and powerful the choppers are thus more manouverable) i definately didnt see any improvement over the bas helos from drakkens, although he does have a nice cockpit panel -

im using keyboard and they are great for me...i cant see any difference between them and drakkens, and they are definately more nimble than any bis helo -
hmmmm, its not possible for a car to fire missiles so im wondering how they did the avenger? i also dont think grenades work on cars...so thats the mk 19 out...unless they use a way of making grenades with bullets same with missiles(cant be tracking though, pretty useless on an avenger and TOW version)

its not that, its because its using the new feature of the dynamic classes, so instead of being under west>air its under west>bas helos(or something like that), but this was only implemented in 1.85, so every version under that doesnt see them -

it might also be that the zip might have a mistake in it, as with the 1.85 version you have 4 pbo's but i dont think the 1.46 one was meant to (not too sure as i was asleep as this was properly released) and im on a 56k so im not gonna download the 1.75/46 version just to sort this bug out the pbo's in the 1.85 zip are: bas_lbs.zip bas_lbs185.zip bas_soar.zip bas_soar185.zip now if you see the 185 files in the 1.46 dl im guessing somethings gone wrong and you should only install the other two...im not sure, which is why i need to know the file names -

what are the four pbo's you installed called? -
from the looks of it you want it to act like a helicopter? with that simulation you can only have a static landing gear, probably better than two 20mm would be some kind of gatling gun as ofp only allows for one gun 'barrel' on a model in ofp, you could also allow it to spin creating a novelty in the addon

i think the problem is that in real life the sound changes relative to your position to the helicopter, in ofp its a set distortion for start up/engine off etc there is only one sound loop that you can use and its coded into the ofp engine to distort the way it does, but it doesnt seem like real life :/

ok, the release version will be up soon with support for 1.75 and under and a few bug fixes, youll have to delete the versions you have now and download again, if youre on a 56k, sorry but blame gunship

definately looks it, but not much of one, this was the final version but stt found some bugs and has been fixing them, it certainly looks like tigershark didnt mean to release them, the direct link i posted earlier wont work for the moment, it probably will once the new version is up, and i dont know if it works under 1.85 as it uses the new class names (thanks for pointing that out, i just mentioned it to stt, he's fixing it now, the release wasnt planned for now so its kinda hectic) tigershark is not a happy bunny

er...200,000 polygons....maybe on a screen, but per vehicle you are looking at 2-4000 for the first lod as maximum, then dropping off in about five stages down to 100 polygons
