    OK wait, thats not an email from the guy thats the readme from the alpha (from about two months ago), it doesnt look like the maker has given permission for his alpha to be released, one of the alpha testers (The_Captain) has released it...please respect the makers wishes and email the maker before hosting it on your site to make sure...

    This time ill have to go with AirwolfPL, the model is very ugly compared to the real thing, and the textures are just the nam pack UH-1D textures stretched over it... From looking at the F-4 OFPMan can do better, i hope he gives it another try...

But saying that, the main player in making the nam pack complete, cpp'ing it and bringing all the files together (STT), is crazy busy with RL work, and of course that has to come before ofp addon making, he also has a GF, so this guy should be given some kind of medal for being able to do any ofp modding work at all, let alone all the work hes done. And yes Hellfish, that was something i mentioned adding in the last stages before release, but it got a bit hectic, i was also hoping that a pre-armed squad of the soldiers with definable arm patches would be added, and replacing the M21 model in the M14 Aimpoint with the M14 model from the nam pack, there are various different things we want to add, and now we dont have the pressure of the first release im sure we will add them.

They are much more precise than artillery and bombs so they can be used to take out snipers and support infantry during assaults. But back to your original question. Unfortunately you can't make moving turret with missiles that are visible. Missiles that come from tubes like in Tunguska can be made. So making for example Gainful is quite impossible, unless someone makes a script...<span id='postcolor'> Actually, while that was true prior to all the new scripting fan-dangled-ness that was added in 1.85+, you can now simulate the proxy by changing its texture with a script which turns it invisible, so it works just like the proxies for say the hellfires/mavericks atm, it also means we can have multiple missile/bomb type weapons on vehicles, and even the AT-3 back on the BMP-1 turret!

Also the style it is atm suits the UK Forces and also the ADF mod (if they chose to use it). This wont be the primary model as that will be the M249 SPW which i will retexture shortly. At the minute im busy making an M82A1. Read the forum rules.
