Sorry but no, we're still heavily working on them, it will be a while before they are ready for screenshots.

    New bas thread

The regular Army units were able to be used by changing a patch before, but they were very rarely used, probably because it was so much hassle to add the weapons on. Also there will be a visual difference between the 82nd and the other regular army units, as they use a different helmet (the same one as the rangers infact). On the whole there wont be too much of a difference between the regular army units, but it is pretty much just an expansion on what was already there in the last pack. This time, instead of the mission maker having to do all the work the new units will now be in groups, with accurate weapons, also the models (i use that term losely as in fact all of the units will only end up using two models, one desert and one woodland) will look vastly different to the Rangers, where in the last pack they used the same model, they will also have the pouch system i explained previously, where the pouches appear depending on the role of the soldier. Hopefully this will eventually turn into the definitive US Army pack. We have been routinely criticised for focusing solely on special forces, the updated De/Ra pack will include units that represent pretty much every major army infantry division that has been involved in recent conflicts and with the Desert Vehicles pack on the way it makes sense to include infantry that would use these vehicles. And all the extra troops will come with very little extra kb added on, we have infact cut down on the number of p3d's that we are using and now only use two (For what will end up being nigh on 100 different looking troops).

    Joint ammo and magazines (jam)

There is absolutely no chance of JAM turning into a mod, it works well as it is and will stay as it is, adding in AI tweaking is something that is simply not neccessary and would completely disrupt the way JAM is used. Things like that are best left to things like the ECP, so sorry but AI tweaking will not be added. I understand that you do not like HD and that there is no way to persuade you otherwise, but we arent going to do anything about it, we and many others enjoy JAM the way it is, with HD. So your opinions are welcome but we will not be acting upon them.

These snide comments of yours in our threads or anywhere we are mentioned is getting tiresome, it really can not be healthy for someone of your age to carry that much bitterness. So please stop, before we are forced to take the matter to the moderators.

    Bell 412 ch-146 griffon

Actually, the UH-1Y is not a 412, i dont think its been given a number yet or if it has i have no idea what it is. Its more of a mix between the 412 and AH-1Z, its tail and engine are nigh on identical to the new Cobras for increased commonality. The model would need extensive changes to look like either of the USMC Hueys.

    New bas thread

Most projects have been slowly progressing during October, we were taking a one month rest so we weren't in too much of a rush to get work done. Work is progressing on the Delta/Ranger update, which will eventually grow to include various new units from 18th Airborne Corp (82nd Airborne Division, 101st Airborne Division, 10th Mountain Division and 3rd Infantry Division) and possibly also a few others. Although these units were available for use in the first version (by assigning patches and BIS weapons) there will infact be dedicated models and units/groups for them in the update, and they will be outfitted with accurate equipment. Another significant change is that the models of each soldier will change for the role that they assume, so a medic will have medic pouches, a machinegunner will have large belt link pouches and grenadiers will have visable grenade pouches and so on and so forth. As well as these changes the weapons are also getting completely revamped. However its a little early for showing pictures, we are still in the early stages of this update, which will pretty much turn the pack into a US Army pack. And ive just dug up an old pic, this is the Rangers before the revamp, the Rangers wont look dramatically different from this picture, its mainly the normal army and delta units that are going to have the most changes, but the pouches and various other bits will be changed: We have also been having major problems with our webhost, we cannot post on our homepage or use our forums, so the team has been having trouble communicating, which has obviously slowed down our work, so be patient and we'll be back to normal business soon enough. And no, the USMC mod wasnt given models of the cancelled helo projects, just the AH-1W which was publically released.

    Vietnam warfare: burned battlefiels

Only one armour module model was made, the PT-76, and i have no idea where that model is, also CSLA have a fantastic looking PT-76 so it doesnt really make sense to start from scratch.

    Any usmc uh-1n released?

Do you and Vixer plan on continuing a USMC Rotary wing pack? No

    Any usmc uh-1n released?

It was the BAS Huey, and it was cancelled, the UH-1N model wasn't released to the public as i did not want it to be, i wasn't happy with the quality of the model.

    Any usmc uh-1n released?

UH-1 N didn´t exist in the vietnam war yet but it will surely be in IL. Actually thats not true, there were UH-1N's in the Vietnam war, if you check the list of all helicopters destroyed in the war you can see a single UH-1N that was shot down. And yes Blackdog, its all a big cover up, i cant believe how you saw through all the smoke and mirrors, you are most intuitive...

Im dont see where the bug is on the BRDM, you can shoot the driver and gunner through the windshield/hatch but how is that a bug?

    Bas tonal-tango pack

No, we are addon makers, not trained professionals that know what every bug, or error message, means and how to fix them, any bugs encountered in the game should be taken to BIS, they have dedicated troubleshooting forums and know what each error OFP displays means. The bug is more likely to do with the amount of addons, there is nothing within the addon that could cause that error.

Take it to BIS, its an OFP bug, its nothing to do with the addon.

Ofp combat photography. No pics over 100kb.

'Hey admin'? Im guessing thats you bitching at me? It was a simple request, it seems silly to have a 100kb limit per image and yet no limit on the amount of images, i enjoy viewing this thread and looking at the images, but having 19-20 images in a post makes it nigh on impossible to do so.

Ofp combat photography. No pics over 100kb.

Indeed, lovely pics, but did you have to put 20 images (at ~100kb an image) in the same post? There are people with modems that also enjoy viewing this thread and a post like that nearly killed my modem.

    New weapons for ADF

No, that was an exercise in Oman STGN, and the problems were fixed, it was something to do with the filter. As far as i know there have been no problems in Op Telic with the filters.

    New weapons for ADF

I would say Challenger 2, it has been proven to perform extremely well in combat, has an astoundingly accurate rifled barrel, is very well armoured and doesnt have the expensive turbine engine of the Abrams. Either that or the Challenger 1, another combat proven British tank with the rifled barrel and chobham armour, and im sure some surplus tanks would be going cheap. And we can always get the Queen to give the convicts a nudge to buy British!

To add to the comments above, you dont even need to have 'Copyright #### 200#' anywhere, or any kind of copyright sign for it to be copyrighted to you. http://www.templetons.com/brad/copymyths.html Anyway, best not to continue the copyright discussion, it seems to be pissing off the moderators.

The M16A1 is also different, its more of a hybrid between the BIS M16A2 and the Nam Pack M16A1 with a few texture tweaks.

    Depleted Uranium (DU)

America has used nuclear bombs on Iraq? Conspiracy theorists ahoy! A weapon is a weapon, it's not designed to play with little bunnies and run through the fields, it's designed to find the best way of completing its purpose, normally resulting in the death or incapacitation of someone. There are many weapons that have adverse effects on the enviroment well after the conflict is over. Vehicles of all kinds use petrol, which when burnt spews toxic fumes into the atmosphere and which we will probably very much regret using 30 or 40 years down the line when it starts to cause illnesses or the death of people, there are mines, cluster bombs, mortar shells, bombs, grenades and missiles that can all still be lethal after the conflict is finished, either by someone finding unexploded ordanance or by hitting a live warhead with a hammer... Also, as yet the cause of cancer is indeterminable, there are probably many factors in Iraq that could contribute to a rise in the rate of cancer, the rising modernisation, incorporating new power stations, telephone masts and other dangerous electrical sites that have been linked with cancer in other countries. Also the unknown amount of chemicals dumped into the water supply of Iraq, the previously mentioned burning of the oil fields and , not to mention the still highly radioactive site of the Iraqi nuclear power station, who knows whether that or the U-235 and other nuclear materials imported into the country are not to blame for the rise in cancer. Jumping to the conclusion that one specific type of munition to blame does not seem right until a proper scientific study is performed, and without the facts of everything that has ever happened in Iraq a correct judgement would be incredibly hard to reach. Lets also not forget the fact that cows have a major part in polluting our enviroment with methane, maybe there should be a lobby for the extermination of all cows?

AP targets people, AI will shoot them at enemy infantry and also armoured/soft targets. 'ALL' rockets target both helicopters, people and armour.
