You dont, you make a seperate model with the mortar attached, and then use model special to switch the models when the player loads a mortar, (refer to the commented config on the breathe site to see how).

Well, as i said, its still being decided, i dont work on the project myself so i cant give definate answers. NZXSHADOWS: So i suppose Baghdad is just a tiny hut in the middle of a huge desert with a few million people crammed into it? -

Theyre on hold while we work on other projects, we just dont have enough people to work on everything at the same time.

Theres more to come, but it wont be announced until we have progressed a little further on the 'project'. So you'll just have to wait and see, or sit guessing for a few weeks.

I've just noticed an LOD problem in the Gazelle with HOT missiles, it seems youve got two 13.291 resolution LOD's, one is the proper one and the other has only one face in it, and it causes the Gazelle to materialize out of nowhere when approaching it from a distance, its easily fixed, you just have to delete the one with the single face in it.

Regading the Gazelle with the cannon not firing much, what you may want to do is add in some lateral movement, even if the actual gun cant do this, (this was done with the BAS littlebirds and the nam pack UH-1C gunship, although in real life that could move), it greatly increases the AI's ability to engage, as they wont have to line perfectly up, the only request i have is a proper Gazelle gunship, with 2 x 20mm cannons and a couple of FFAR tubes, something with a bit more firepower.

There are no US Army AAV's, its just that you probably were mainly seeing US Marine units in the tv pictures from Iraq.

Patient my friend I know BAS want to release the perfect MH-60 with nice features I think the most time goes in the scripts and the missions Actually most of the time so far has been in model and textures, our MH-60 as it is now has only been in production for a couple of months, maybe less, the old version using the BIS model was abandoned because the base UH-60 model was just too ugly, so we've started from scratch with a completely new model and brand new textures (no longer uses the old TJP ones), it looks great, but youll probably have to wait a while to see screenshots... -
Not possible for us to do, weapons come under different rules in ofp so we couldnt use a script to unhide a brighter texture on top of the dull image underneath.

Not sure, i think only Wetwork knows his full plans, and yes i know about STGN's M4 SPR, although it wouldnt make sense to use it (If thats what you're suggesting), as the textures wouldnt match the rest of our weapons, (which are being remade, or well...another thing im not sure if im allowed to announce...)
