    Heh, we arent actually making any, or have plans to make any, my point was on the 'time scale', these guys are taking on an awful lot at once, it would probably be better for them to start one project, finish it, and then as their team grows start on multiple projects.

    Doesnt fit in with their campaigns, East Timor is in Australasia/Oceania i think. The vegetation/buildings will be different from Vietnam.

    Well if you look at the pics on IL you will see the what I mean.Im not talking about OFP2 being Like VBS.I just think that the units will be there.And about the 1970,Thats is going to be for the OFP2 main campaign.Not IL.It all makes sense to me,But I can be wrong. Well, even if IL is an expansion for OFP2, if your theory is correct, then it will be IL with all the VBS1 units, not OFP2, i mean, just because OFP:R includes a V-80, you dont tell people that its in OFP:CWC do you?

    How do you work that out? VBS1 is a modern training simulator, with modern equipment, vehicles and aircraft, OFP2 is set in the years surrounding 1970, the equipments/weapons/vehicles are completely different.

  13. I've been playing OFP pretty much daily for about 18 months now, and i have only ever noticed this bug today, by going ingame and trying to make it happen, it really really isnt that big a deal...

    The problem with using different types of rounds in the vest is the same problem as using single rounds, there is a limit of ten spaces in the ammunition slots, and the smallest something can be (ie a handgrenade/magazine) is 1 slot, so this is pretty much the only way to get a realistic loadout on grenadiers, adding in smoke/buckshot/flare rounds will just take up more and more slots lessening the amount of magazines/handgrenades the grenadier can carry.

    Over the USP's, yes, its apparently a terrible weapon, failed project. Also probably over the M9, but as we didnt have a Colt M1911 model at the time we couldnt arm the Deltas with them, also noone really knows what they use, all you can do is look at other US Army special forces units and the odd picture taken of them and try to merge it into credible information. And no, no pics of the Deltas.

    MP5N with Safe/Semi/Auto. MP5K PDW with Safe/Semi/Auto. The sniper rifle round hasnt been decided on yet, as well as the way you suggest we could just use a sniper rifle bullet using a supersonic round along with a suppressor, doesnt silence the bullet but does disguise where the shot came from. And yes, a .45 ACP will probably be included, looks like i forgot that one.

    The ranger using this vest has not been made yet, i think you misunderstand what JAM is for, we are not creating all the guns, we are creating cpp code that addon makers then use to allow the soldiers more realism in the way they can pick up ammunition, also in the end making it more easier to make crates with all the weapons in.

    Doesnt the Javelin fill another role? It seems too large/heavy to fill the role of a Light Anti-tank Weapon, I don't actually know, just wondering.

    I dont think thats such a good idea per se, but with a little modification it could be, instead of completely blocking the damage from a certain class it would be better if they expanded on the hitpoints section, allowing us to set a minimum damage for a round to penetrate on a certain section of a vehicle, so that the models can be made like the real thing and have soft spots, like the magazine of a tank. So instead of being like it is: armorHull=1; armorTurret=0.8; armorGun=0.6; // hitpoints (relative to overall armor) armorEngine=0.8; armorLights=0.4; armorTracks=0.6; It would be like this: armorHull=1; minammoDamagePenetrationHull=45; and so on... Although, obviously with a better name...

    Or we can just lower the range at which they start using them, which has been planned for a while. now thats very very cool and r u guys going to give the ranger update new handguns ?? No, the Rangers only use the M9, and only officers have them.
