    Ah, then yes there is a way to make the MH-47E fastope the guys in it with a mission editor command, im not sure on the specifics but if you download the pmc ranger path campaign on the first mission you can see it in action (and unpbo'ing it im sure you'll see how its done).

    Just a quick question, why do you and OFP.info keep calling it a BVP? Did BIS model the wrong vehicle (again)? As the BMP is Bronevaya Maschina Piekhota, not sure how you could get BVP from that. (Honest question, not attacking or anything)

    I think thats the only types of missile it will work against, as i think i remember seeing someone mention the 'incomingmissile' event handler, i think that only applies to missiles that are locked on, so it probably wont work against rpg's.

    May as well let this slip, there will be a standalone DShK without the sandbags (and requiring no other addons) coming out soon, it's primarily for some enemy troops we (BAS) have made but it will not need any other addons to work and im sure we can get it hosted individually (as well as being bundled with the other addons its being released with).

    I believe even an M1A2 was knocked out by an RPG-7 on a stroll through Baghdad, it was shown on the news with Iraqi's jumping all over it.

    all it takes is a simple "yes" or "no". Yes that is all it needs, however we arent releasing details about what is included in the MH-60 pack as nothing is final until its released, so you'll just have to wait and see.
  14. Well...no, this thread is about the Hilux that was released, and im reporting a pretty major bug in the addon...better here than in a thread in the discussion forum that the author might not see.
  15. I just noticed something really shocking with this addon, its overwriting the BIS standing gunner anim! So addons like the Inv44 Half Tracks, BIS M113 (and now the BAS UAZ's) have the gunner stuck in the wheels, you really REALLY need to tag your animations. And ive done a bit of testing to make sure it is this addon causing it, with the addon in theyre stuck 3-4 feet below where they should be, take it out its back to normal, put it back in theyre again 3-4 feet below, pretty definitive proof as i was only moving the one pbo.

    You can manually define the \OFP\Addons\ folder. Furthermore, many island anim cutscenes must be placed in \OFP\Addons\. Surprisingly Ia Trang was one of those islands that had to have the anim in \Addons (or so the readme said), and yet it works fine in \Res\Addons.

    There isnt a difference, all that happens is that it will load the \Addons folder if you are just playing normal ofp, and it will load both if you are playing res, people seem to get errors when they start having addons in both the \addons and the res\addons folder, it would be a lot easier for addon makers if everyone used \Res, as its hard explaining which folder to put it in, also, people that dont install any 1.10-1.46 patches dont have an \Addons folder, only a Res\Addons folder, so its just one big mess...

    Yeah, ofp does that automatically as soon as a unit is able to repair, same with medics, so any truck that can refuel/repair/rearm can be called.

    Depending on what you mean by class, they wont be in the 'Support' section in the mission editor, or in something like BAS - Support Vehicles, we are only using BAS - Vehicles for western vehicles, to cut down on the amount of space we take up, it will still be callable by the radio though.

    At the minute the island is still quite a way from being finished, we are still creating buildings/objects to add into it, and each version is changing drastically, there are no military bases on the island at the minute, and if there were we would not use external addons, it just creates problems with users having to download them and its a lot easier to make them ourselves.
