Er...no, as mentioned in the previous post by tj the only true bugs on the MH-60 are the cabin light making a noise and another one TJ spotted. Also, JAM doesnt have a problem on non-linux machines as the side code is only used once, and it uses the words, the only time it appears is this: side=TWest; So the numbers are irrelevant, obviously Linux versions handle this differently, what ST is saying about us rereleasing is that we are going to make them AAE compatible and implement any changes that are made in 1.92 and fix any of the small bugs mentioned, we obviously couldnt have implemented them before release as we have no idea what is being changed.
-
Im not too sure what the problem with the linux server is, it may be to do with this: requiredAddons[] = {"BIS_Resistance"}; But thats for BIS to fix, not us, without it there may be problems on windows os', i think if you decompile jam, remove that line and recompile it may remove it, im not sure though, i really dont know much about linux or its bugs with ofp, basically its not our problem, its BIS'. Oh and Abrams, thats not a bug, its a known issue, we've known about that for weeks, its an engine bug not an addon bug. And the M134 not moving on the AH-60L was on purpose i believe.

Not happening with me...or the rotor shadow bug, or the Mi-2 bug, its installed on my system and it works fine. And the minigun is actually very weak compared to the real thing, it has a lower rate of fire and fires bullets that do half the damage of a machinegun of the same caliber (M60), how much more do you want us to tone the thing down?
-
The minigun bullet used does actually very little damage, less than a silenced pistol round infact...

If someone can tell me where to find a 1.91 version decoded config then i can do this.
-
Nope, its a straight conversion...
-
Then dont break the ladder Its a limitation of the scripting...

1. No, its not more CPU intensive, i have exactly the same amount of lag (still pretty bad) on the normal battlefields as i do on the JAM version. 2. HD weapons are for AI to use, they are less accurate so the AI fires more bullets, they use full auto a lot more, and it adds to the atmosphere a lot more, a lot more rounds are hitting around you and there is a lot more gunfire in the background, however its not exactly recommended for human use, you wont hit very much.

Nope, he got the right person, you need to realise the BAS team has spent months going over every possible avenue of ideas, many were dismissed for various reasons and those that werent you see on the helicopters, we have been working through the night for the last 3 weeks or so, so we are not going to take kindly to negative comments, questions we deem silly (like putting a vehicle that was replaced 20 years (or so) ago on the sling of a modern aircraft), so if our answers are rather curt sometimes...tough...

No need to ask permission. Just dont modify the JAM_Magazines.pbo and give credit.

217.103.136.229 port 17479 BAS server, has all the new missions on and the MH-60/SOAR/JAM, will be various BAS members on from time to time, feel free to come play.

Well, the M136 cant reload in real life, however it can in ofp, to balance this the RPG-7 which is reloadable was given rounds which take up smaller room, allowing the player to take 3-4, some grenades and a decent amount of magazines, i dont think anyone would really fill up their entire inventory with rpg's when seriously playing a mission, so yes in a way it is realistic, you often see people in conflicts wearing backpacks with 3-4 RPG's stuck in them and still carrying their gun and ammo.
-
Yes, the SPR can also use the normal single/full auto 30 round 5.56x45 magazines provided in JAM. The M4 (Not M4A1) can just use the single/burst 30 round 5.56x45 magazines provided in JAM. And yes we know the FN FAL, M14 and G3 use different mags, however they use the same ammo and if you wish to believe in absolute realism you can pretend they just switch the bullets into the new mag...The were made to use the same mag to heighten commonality.

Not a bug.

A few missions made to use JAM: http://www.ballistic-studios.com/downloads/JAM_Missions.rar To install put the missions in the 'Missions' folder into the 'Missions' folder in your ofp directory, and the missions in 'MPMissions' go into the 'MPMissions' folder in your ofp directory, rather self explanatory really... A few of them are just converted BIS missions with the weapons/magazines in gear and using the JAM soldiers, Road to Nowhere and Farm to Nowhere are the real demo missions.

Another link on our downloads page: http://www.ballistic-studios.com/

Actually as they are both in the same download it doesnt violate the rules of AAE, and i believe you can still have a reliance on external addons in AAE as long as you clearly state them and a source for download. Anyway, it seems an AAE compliant Blackhawk+JAM+SOAR version will be available once 1.92 is released.
-
Please, just enjoy this addon and let us rest a little before nagging about the next addon commences... And as for JAM, it will be released in a standalone AAE compatible download soon. Same with the SOAR.

I dont see how 'we plan to' is construed as a promise... And not sure whats happening with the civilian LB, the military projects have more priority however so its probably been pushed to the back of the list or cancelled.
-
Its been on hold for the last couple of weeks while the people working on it were finishing up JAM/MH-60's.
-
They have been removed as they are no longer our current projects. Our projects at all, actually... Thats what i meant...

Firstly, at BAS we dont have deadlines, at all, so no deadlines have come and gone, there have also been no hints about ETA's until ST has said another couple of days, it may have been 'dangerously' to being finished but there are still other things to take into account, readmes for instance, there is a lot of information needed in the readme and it takes a couple of days to compile, also last minute bugs have cropped up that if we didnt delay for a few days would have gone unfixed, if people dont want to be disappointed when they construe whatever we say about projects into a release date, simple remedy, stop asking about when it will be finished.
