    MK18 Mod 1

    Wow, I'm so glad to see this thread, I must've missed this project thus far. I love the work and models posted so far, the weapon looks wonderful.   2. When I look at the AH.1 from certain angles it looks like someone went overboard cleaning it one day: It doesn't appear to happen to the HC.2 though.
  3. Could someone make a replacement pack for the OA Army troops to be Binkowski's 2008 Soldiers? http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=9137 And maybe a file that changes their weapons to M4/M16s? Any help would be apprecieted

If you're still looking for/trying different swatches, the Army has a 300dpi .tiff of UCP here (look under" brand and logo" on the left panel) http://www.usaac.army.mil/sod/ Not for the fainthearted to download, it's over 400mb (8230x14326 :O) But I tried when I played around with texturing in other games and had very satisfactory results.
  5. Could someone make a new USMC unit that's wearing the IBA instead of the MTV? Either woodland or tan would be good. IIRC BIS has a texture in there with it, I just don't know how to set up a new unit with all the bump maps and rvmats or whatever you need to do EDIT: And now with the release of Fromz's PLA, a China/Asia themed map

    Wow, this map is amazing. It has a certain "feel" that makes it seem really believable, unlike Chernarus, that felt more like a collection of villages in a forest than a lived-in country. I also like the uninhabited north. Great work!

    ArmA2 Project Reality

    The only PR project publically known is StalkerGB's use of British kit and anther mission (I forget who made it) with AASv2. The devs have declined that they would make another mod for any other game and are focusing on finishing the BF2 mod and starting up PR2 on the C4 engine.

  13. Awesome, Binkowski. I've been waiting for ACU units since ArmA Ii was released =D Just one question and a little suggestion: Are the units wearing the ACH, or still using the USMC PASGT/LWH? And suggestion: Im not sure if it's just my color settings, but the camo looks a little too blue. If you could make it more of a green, it would look spot on. (I'm comparing it to my PROPPER ACU jacket) But regardless if you change that or not, I'm really excited to see these.
  14. Is there any way to get ArmA I units in ArmA 2? I've seen some screenshots of people running WWII units in Chenarus, and I was wondering if the BW units could be in game too? I tried bringing the A1 characters.pbo and renamed it to CAcharacters.pbo, but it kept giving me a "Circular addon dependency in '[XXXmod]'" error

    ArmA II Soldier Class Names?

  17. I was just wondering if there was a list of soldier class names floating around. I'm trying to use some vehicles in ArmA (Up-armored HMMWVs and the Mig-15) but I'm not sure where to find the soldier names to replace the original ArmA classes. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

    Did you have to do anything to it? I can run the map fine in ArmA, but ArmA II crashes whenever I try to load it I can run Avgani and Afghan village fine, though
  20. Well, I really have no clue on how to UV things or merge textures... I have the original .pbo from your first post, so maybe I can load that up and try to best replicate that texture on the updated model? Miles Teg, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but the latest versions (I think from when Kikill release his first reskin) the pack I downloaded (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=3438) came in three versions: Woodland with EAAK, desert with EAAK, and woodland without EAAK. I was just going to do those same variants. If you want me to not release the version without, I can remove it. Thanks
  22. This was more a case of "School is ending, and I wish I havd an AAVP7 to play with until ArmA II comes out" than a reworking, as I won't have time to pursue this further. But if Miles Teg wants to pick it up again, then I'd love to seen a real interior and other things added on to get it up to par with the vanilla vehicles :) More WIP: Playing with the specular/bump maps. Need to tine them down a bit... If I can't get those... things on the side of the unarmored version to look right, I think I'll just remove them. Will continue to add detail (Didn't touch the back and front yet) However, I don't think that I can fix anything about the interior of the vehicle, as I have no idea how to UV map, or even have any programs that could... And what file (If any is included) is the specular or bump map? Or does the game just use the Alpha channel? Thanks
