I uninstalled arma 2 OA because I was getting some retarded message bad serial number given in setup. So now I'm trying to reinstall and it is asking me for my serial number. Where do I find it?

Nah I haven't tried it. im too lazy idk when ill get around to dealing with this bullshit. battlefield 3 will just get my time until i do.

How about instead of calling a cd key a serial number, installation key, and registration code at different times during the installation process. Where on the booklet? I'm talking about the serial number not the CD key. I already put the CD key in during the installation.

There is a really terrible nonsense feature in the game. If you move your mouse up and down your head moves first and your gun lags behind it and catches up to it after a second. So if you jerk your mouse up to the sky hard your head will look at the sky and your gun will take a minute to catch up to wear you're looking. But if you look left or right your gun and head move together instantly with no lag. So essentially you can shoot targets more easily and faster if they are to your left or right but slower and harder if they are above or belove you. Is there a way to make the up and down looking like the side to side looking? Please update the game and remove this crap or tell me how to fix it. Thanks.

My complaint is if you are looking down your iron sites on your rifle and egaging multiple targets you swing your head and rifle together not your head faster than you can swing you rifle. Your head and eyes are stuck on the rifle and keep looking down it. It is different just like I explained. And your argument is also disproven by the fact that NONE of this applies to left and right movement. Its like the gun is weightless and your head and rifle move instantly together. This is something i already explained in this thread. So the excuse of explaining this away as the weight of the weapon is false because the weapon is weightless in your left to right movement.

It's not floating zone or head bob. That was part of my original post is if it is an option what option is it and where do I go to change it?

The weapons weight huh, ok i didnt know that. But that is not how it should be if you are looking through your iron sites. What should happen is there should be a cap on speed raising and lowering the weapon. I replaced the files and I'm still getting kicked. DAO shows up now with a red circle on the servers list.. but I can get into a server called C5 cerebus which has a yellow circle..? why?

Hi.. I'm getting a ton of video lag in arma 2 oa. I have intel core i7 x980 @ 3.33ghz. I think I have 6 of those processors. I have 2 ati 5970s. I was trying to figure out why and looking at the processor graphs in the task manager. I noticed they rarely go above 70 or 80 percent. My buddy told me to disable hyper threading and I did that and I still have the lag. Like if I spin my character around in place on max settings I get EXTREMELY bad lag. So I'm assuming its the processors not working at 100%.. So does anybody know how I can fix this and get these processors all working at 100% in arma 2 oa?

Well the thing that's not working is I'm not getting enough frames to play arma on max settings much of the time. Just wondering with my computer if thats what should be happening or not. I have an alienware area 51 alx with the cpu and graphics cards mentioned earlier.. I'm gonna check out those programs when I get the time. Everyone else in game is saying theyre getting 60 frames.. i should be getting better than they are.

soo no solution with the system I have besides overclocking it.? the cpus not good enough..? I also use gbooster to shut down background processes.

That pretty much fixed the spinning around lag and a lot of the problem.. but still I check my graphs in the task manager and none of my cpus r going more than 80 percent and I'm still getting low frame rates and too much video lag.. You made it better thanks but does anyone know how to get cpus to 100 percent?

Hi I have 2 ati 5970's and can't run maximum settings in multiplayer pvp and have good enough frame rates. And I think that even if I upgraded to 2 ati 6990's I still wouldn't be able have complete max settings in multiplayer pvp with high frame rates.. So, those are the 2 best cards on the market. So would getting 2 more 5970's allow me to do this in arma 2:OA or more than 2 of any card? If not, then I'm assuming that it's impossible for anyone to max out their settings and have high frame rates all the time in online pvp? Is this true? Or can I do it with 4?
