Ok, Vote on the current DHD or a larger one, i'll change it accordingly. Another bug has been found out, a glitch causes some of the custom names to partialy randomize, i'll fix this tommorrow, its easy to do just time consuming.

RC 3 of the gates are ready to download from the DSF site. It fixes the "dsf_gate ==" bug, the addressbook bug and a number of left in hints have been removed. As for the gate going mad, click the shutdown and reset buttons on the dialing computer, should fix it till i can track it down. boo-dro, the gates will shut down after about 40 seconds if know one enters, if any one wants to keep it open for longer then either stand infrom of the even horizion or get a ai to or place some thing there, etc and it will stay open for a max of 38 mins.

A lot of the gate has been completely rewritten. The gates now have manual dialling. The SGC dialling computers have address books. Installation ------------ Copy the DSF_SG_DHD.pbo to your Addons directory. You MUST also have a copy of SG_DHD.pbo, be it ours, Walmis' or the original BX gate. All ready and PBO'd, i need to write the readme though, for advanced missions is a must. I'll write it tommorrow morning and have it out by lunch (GMT).

would it not make more scence then to just release 1.1 PBO  "WITHOUGHT" the stupid kill script,  "FOR NOOOBS" so missions (already made STILL work) and future missions then should work, if the quotes true,,, or does this 1.2 SP actualy work (properly FULLY) within SP because 1.1 is PERFECT (besides the whole dying part) personaly ide love to see the 1.2 sp (specialy if its got the stars effect as you step through) and the new dialer but....  if its gona end up dying OR EVEN worse Incompatable with the final 1.2, (and everything currently out now) then its gona be worse than 1.1 for eveyone  i say only release 1.2 sp if it'll still have ALL the class names n such as 1.2 full  AND  it actualy works.......... i mean time it took me to make an iris script, and i bet it wont even work with 1.2 ffs  what else will of changed by the final version ? also ye no, as beta testes go who ever beta tested 1.1 and never even noticed it dying is a Lamer, sat online 24/7 playing it (so called Stress test) yet the foookin AI cant even walk though it   because of TWO words in 1 file (and its not hard to see they DIE) surly ? after all this time i would'nt even release 1.2 untill its been tested by god, cos if its worse that 1.1 its gona loose interest fast, and upset loads look at the fans problems with the Stargate worlds mod lmao if it dont work in fully SP its not even worth releasing (you say  its MP code thats problematic) thierfor the SP version should work 100% then ? so why ask when ye no 1.1 is a pain in the ass for 90% of players, sorry to be blunt but the fact 1.1 works 99% and not 1 persons actualy said yo heres a fix for the AI dying (publicly) i would but its NOT my sqf to release is it its all been Wait for Wait for Wait...., now im happy to wait, but i get sick of clicking links (making site owners money) while surfing for false promises and home made dates Consider This 99.9% of Stargate Fans Step Through on thier OWN cos everyone else is DEAD no excuse for it besides GOTO "KILL" and killspecial remember the fans (not just the OFP comunity) most fans cant even get the editor working so fixing a sqf in a pbo is NO CHANCE for em so if ye think 1.2 sp is fully up and running just give the dam thing to us all and sit n wait for probs to be reported & then release the MP version also may i suggest actual beta testers who no NOITHING about ofp because everyone so far aint noticed people even die   Thankyou for being so blunt, now let me... i did not work on the gate to make a new game for the stargate community. I worked on it cos it was flawed, it did not follow the series and therefore needed the work, at the end of it i released the work so others could do the same. I don't care if you don't like the kill script, if you put half the effort into learning the simple opflash code as you did complaining you'd have a super gate by now. The 1.1 was ment as a multiplayer framework, something that BxBx or another modder could pick up on and improve, tragicly they didn't so i decided to help you all out and improve on it again. Your going to have to stop your whining and realise that your not going to get a full stargate game out of this mod, everything released is going to be betas and will need work and insulting the people who are working on it is a very dumb idea. Anyway the 1.2 will be released tonight, you can all choke on it for all i care.

Ok everyone, Version 1.2 is taking a long time to come out because its mutiplayer code is very complex, were talking another 2 weeks min. Time to make a descision, i'll leave it to the vote: Shall i release a single player version of 1.2? Can do it today if its wanted, it will have 90% of all the final functions but will only work single player. I'm thinking this could help mission makers and such. Ok, vote now.

I said PROBABLY, we (bxbx and me) are waiting for Honza work but he haven't finished... so you will have them PERHAPS next week . i'm      to wait too, i want to release my weapon pack but i can't because i have to wait bxbx and honza work   .... You sound like DSF Especially that DSF just sent BXBX over code necessary to upgrade the sg weapons for use on every unit (the energy weapons) as well as a full working Gacgoa (or Gou'ld Flash Grenade).

Yep the same way as the screens are animated. There's really no other way to do it. It looks cool though 214 paa's to be exact, took 2 hours to complete.

No i ASSUME you'll never get anything your working on to actually work and tragicly i'm not bothered if your upset or not. Though don't worry, dont get all glum i can repeat the phrase "it'll be done when its done" as many times as you like. P.S. wheres your whin ON/OFF button? its like talking to a furby. P.P.S. who needs to work on the gates when i can sit here and annoy noobs all day.

Well heres a thought, go make your own missions? or perhaps contribute more to the mod than whining? Now child let the big boys make the decisions and maybe you'll get a treat when their finished.

Ok, this is to clear up the whole delay issure most of the people here seem to have. the DSF version 1.2 of the gate is not a advanced version of BxBx's, its not just the 1.1 with some extra bug fixes it is infact a complete and total rewrite of all the original code to make it multiplayer compatible as well as allowing better DHD function, fixing a long list of bugs present and adding everything that people on this forum have requested. Thus the waits are inevertable, stop whining about it. And to add to what Landorin has already said, if you don't know about scripts then your really going to be limited to what you can do with v1.2, its being programmed with medium to advanced mission makers in mind. you'd find it easier to stick with BxBx's v1.

Hopefully sunday, sorry about the delay but we found a pretty major bug in the gate naming script. been fixed now and were continuing to stress test.
