DSF Productions Scud Collection v1.1 Complete
Deepsmeg replied to Dingmatt's topic in ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
We have added in support for NBC units, but they need to be designed to work with our scuds. At time of writing, I don't think there are any out there that are compatible. If an NBC guy gets shot, he should die. The only problem with shooting people is in the biological warhead at 4x speed where the chance of severe issues increases drastically. Shooting infected people at 1x speed should not be a problem. -
DSF Productions Scud Collection v1.1 Complete

Couple of questions. You said you didn't find any bugs until now, implying that you have now found one. Care to enlighten us? The nuke damage is the same as the old one. We've just made it look a lot scarier. You now have a quite clear objective. Avoid the nuke. Stay away from the nuke. Nuke is dangerous. -
I'm taking NO credit for this. The bike is unmodified. The addon NEEDS the KLR 250 to be installed. The function of this mod is to get a good thing and make it annoying. I revamped the thing I made for... "That Movie"... and made it available to all of you. http://deepsmeg.dsfproductions.co.uk/stt_klr_frog.zip SelectThis, if you have a problem with this, let me know and I'll cease and desist.

Do it like you would vertically, but change a different axis?

I asked this a while ago on another forum, but it got dead and buried so I thought I'd ask here. I'm after the sheet music for the OFP soundtrack, not the Seventh stuff, but the wonderfully named 01.ogg, 02.ogg, etc and frost.ogg. Nice though it is having the soundtrack on my MP3 player and listening to it while I cycle round everywhere, strange how I usually have tracks 09 or 10 playing when I'm going over a very evil junction... Errm... back to the point. Nice though that is, I'd like to have the music available so that I can try and actually play it. Got to be the best way to wind up the neighbours! Does Mr Placebo know whether Mr Matejka is willing to assist here?

Anyone want to model the rider for it to complete the package?

Yes. Please don't kill me.

Evening. Is there any way to detect whether an object that NearestObject has found is a map object or a unit. Pretty much, I want to be able to distinguish between a tree and a man, but not have a list of every type of tree and a list of every type of man. What I have is a particle that is moving around and damaging the nearest unit to it, by using NearestObject. The problem is that this is killing trees, buildings, bridges, ANYTHING. This is a very bad thing. Any ideas?

It'd be interesting if you could... 2 Driver get in man 12 o'clock! 2 Disembark! Bobby Bruning (Alpha Black 2) was killed (disembodied)
-
But would a man be his own driver?

I know bumping old threads is bad etc, but it's better than making a new thread for followup... Any joy in finding it under all the office junk?

He's not so tough! I decided to take on Godzilla! Preparing... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pauleva....-31.jpg Almost there... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pauleva....-38.jpg Got the little sod! http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pauleva....-54.jpg Moral of the story: Whlst he may well be all big and tough when he's trampling cities, he's still a wuss when it comes to fatal doses of chemicals and gamma radiation.

Yep. I'm after the white paper with blkack lines and tadpoles :P

I asked on the opflash.org forums.

Damn. You beat me to it!

Most Annoying Nearly Killed Someone: I was playing CTI. After a long buildup, we had managed to get enough money to build a nuke. After a very long 5 minutes, we had built this very scary scud launcher. We chose to attack Montignac with it as a test since there was heavy resistance and it was a probable target for the enemy team. We got the confirmation of the target and the ETA. The missile took off. We got our countdown. 5. A second passed, seeming like 2 or 3 seconds. 4. Another second, again feeling like 3 seconds. 3. Yet another second had passed. By now this countdown had felt like it had taken 10 seconds. 2. One more second, but it appeared to be a lot longer... 1. An eternity passed before it happened. Before the countdown was complete and the nuke hit its target. Before we'd destroyed a lot of enemy soldiers and armour... Then it happened. It was done. The nuke was going off... Error loading 'CoC_Torpedoes\CoC_ShkvalNuc' As I said. The most annoying nearly killed someone...

In Schweizer style, I present the joys of playing OFP when under the influence of certain substances: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paulevansemsworth/trip.swf Is this a picture or a video?

Nothing new? We gave you nukes! And green clouds of death!

I have drawn up a basic format for NBC units for compatibility with the Scud Collection. Use the animation "nbc_shield" to control the gasmask/whatever. If all NBC units use that name for the animation, then they should in theory be protected. If you set the animation to 0.5, units will be partially affected, that is they will have some protection but still die in the end. This would be most noticable in the biological warhead.

We've not planned on making it part of UA. USSRsniper, Go get v1.0 of the scud collection, beta3 didn't have it, I don't think beta4 did, and beta5 which does have it was never made public.
