Greetings, Well I kinda already asked the question in the Title and Description. But to make it clear. I already understand the basis of camera scripting with OFP. But I do not understand how to make the scene appear when the camera is aimed at the scene. If I still need to clarify the question just ask. I'll then just try to explain what I want to do exactly . Greetings, Dark Knight Dragon

Greetings all, I've been having problems with reinstalling Operation Flashpoint GOTY for some time now. With the cd not being able to read 3 files, resulting in me not being able to play this game. I've already searched on the forums, and I copied the cd to my harddrive, but now I'm still missing the 3 files the cd can't read. So if any GOTY playing forum member could help me out, by sending me the 3 files I'm still missing. I would be much obliged. The 3 files are the pbo's, su25 trab and vulcan. Located on the installation cd in the maps Flashpoint\Res\Addons\ So if anyone could help me out I can go and see if then I can play Operation Flashpoint again . Greetings, Cio

Heeya I bought Operation Flashpoint like almost a year ago had a lot of fun with it, and even started building my own missions. But when I changed computer, I had to reinstall Flashpoint from the original install cd. But that cd won't install it anymore. My question now is. Am I just screwed now, or is there a way I can be helped. I originally bought the Operation Flashpoint Game of the Year Edition. But bringing it back to the store where I bought it is impossible, as they won't replace it anymore  . So the moral of this posting. Am I screwed yes or no (and yes posting this makes me already kinda screwed  ). Greetings Dark Knight Dragon

Destroy your own
Dark-Knight-Dragon replied to Dark-Knight-Dragon's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Mr.Zig thanks for the reply . But well I can't really test your code sample out. As all of a sudden out of nowhere. I have another problem, this time with the helo's. They keep flying into each other . So uhm well as soon as I find a way around there incompetence . I'll see if it works. As I put the sample immediately in the mission, to see if it would work immediately. But I will let you know if it finally worked for me . Greetings Dark Knight Dragon. -
Ok Gents another question. In my first mission, I have an American Ranger unit checking out a town. Where contact has been losed with a UN team investigating the town. But it turns out that the truck has been attacked. At that the team isn't present. So then I want the team to just check out the town a bit, and then report back to base, well actually The player. Saying that they checked the site and came up empty. Then I want them too extract the area in the same chopper they where dropped in with. Now take note. I already know how to do the above. But I also want them to destroy the truck when they extract the area. And this is now the thing I don't know how to do. I want it to be so that they don't lose that value thing that makes there teammates kill them, and note I don't want to edit anything. Cuz I already read that you could edit something. But hey I just want one truck to explode on a trigger that's it. So if anyone could tell if there is a command, or how I can devise something to do this for me. I would appreciate it. Unit placing in mission editor
Dark-Knight-Dragon replied to Dark-Knight-Dragon's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Thanks for the reply PiNs_Da_Smoka . And well yes that is my problem with the Editor. If there was a margin error of a few metres. I would not have troubled you guys. But the editor puts the choppers just way to far to be considered within a error margin. Well I don't know if you remember the Malden airport, but I have positioned the choppers next to the landing strip. In the middle field that is split up in between the taxi strips. But the editor seems to like to use all the fields around the airport. As it will put several choppers on the backfields near the houses. I just wanted the choppers to line up, and then take off all together as the mission starts. Well I hope that this cleared things up for you. If it didn't just tell me . -
Unit placing in mission editor
Dark-Knight-Dragon posted a topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Hey all as you can see this is my first post, as I now finally started creating my own missions . I already read alot of resources about mission editing, so I wont bother ya'll with questions already asked  . But I do have one incredibly stupid problem which I can't seem to figure out by myself. And after searching, and searching and looking at the Forum. I see that either no one before had this problem. Or they simply did find the answer. In the mission that I am making, if have several helicopters standing at wait on Malden's Airport. But for some reason the choppers are not standing at the positions I decleared in the Editor. Only like 3 of the 7 choppers is standing on the position I want them to stand  . And well I tried moving them away from the airfield putting them more towards the fence, but that also didn't work. And I did input helopad's but that also didn't work, as the game would still place the choppers randomly within the game . So if anyone can help me, with this dilemma I would appreciate it .
