When I get a little long winded in the notes page of an ArmA briefing I then get cut off at the bottom of the first notes page when viewing the briefing in game. There is no link to continue to the second notes page as there was in OFP briefings. Are we limited to only one page for notes in ArmA briefings? I have not made any long Briefings so I am not sure this occurs on the plan page too. Thanks...DOA

Outstanding. You can count me in. The 6THSENSE mod is great and the server is a great place to run coop missions with good people.

IMHO: The briefing and notes are a big part of each and every mission. If this is indeed a bug, I would hope it's high on the to be fixed list. :-)

Thanks for the work around SNKMan. Like Nepumuk, I too would like to see the old briefing capibility restored. Multiple pages without having to manually create links to additional pages. Of course I could just learn to write shorter briefings and notes, but some complex missions require a little more briefing.

Thanks for the map m8. Good work. The old OFP heads will remember the big pdf maps came on the original CD. :-) They still adorn my office wall. People ask me where are those islands. I just tell them "You can't get there from here, it a secret getaway." I can imagine them going home an searching google or looking at their globes and maps for the "Malden Islands". LOL.

I'm crying a river over this bouncing thing. Â The vehicles are great and FK thinks enough of us poor grunts to let us have some shields (at last). In every other way they are perfect. However; the bouncing makes them unusable accept for background props. Surely some GURU in the outstanding OFP community can fix the bouncing?

ArmA is Gold everywhere it is released and still xfire.com has not added ArmA support. All X-fire users please email them and request X-fire to add ArmA. I am logging a lot of hours on ArmA; but, getting no X-fire hours! :lol

Hi guys, I am starting to cheat on my wife (OFP) more and more with my new girlfriend (ArmA). I'm having my first issue. I open the editor, choose Rahmadi, make a mission, and then save as user mission...After preparing the briefing and init.sqs etc, I then open it in the editor and try to save/export to MPMissions. I get a file in the MPMissions folder "Test.Intro.pbo". (Test is the name if the mission.) I then go to multiplayer and start new MP but it doesn't show up as a choice in the mission list. In fact there are no MPMissions on Rahmadi. I can create a custom mission from the MP screen and it becomes a choice in the MPMissions on Rahmadi. I'm using the (Morhpicon) German version, patched to 1.02, and patched to English with sickboys English patcher .09. I don't have an English manual yet. TIA...DOA

I think he means to say that if you are in the Army you are a "Soldier". If you are in the USMC you are a "Marine". Â There are no "USMC Soldiers", only "USMC Marines"... Â I'm guessing BlackScorpion is a Marine. Well done. Nice addon. Thanks much.

I don't use this much anymore. It worked well in MS Flight Simulator. With Game commander you can map keybinds to voice commands. Game Commander btw: There are others this is the only one I ever tried. (Search the WWW)

USA distribution problem solved. I'm signing up for German and Chech language classes at the local community college. ;-)

In this case a "peer" would be a similar simulation. There is nothing (except VBS1) that can compare to OFP. Thus I guess OFP has only one peer, VBS1. (Soon to be two peers when ArmA escapes or is released. I am mounting missions to free ArmA as soon as possible) Some other examples of peers... Quake and Unreal Tournament would be peers. Both are FPS "arcade-bunnyhoppers" set in totally fictional settings. BF2 and Americas Army would be peers, both are Flashpoint wanna-bes! LOL. Please hold your flame throwers, I have nothing against any other game. To each his own, live and let live. I'm just kidding around.

I read about 28 pages and had to give up. Life is too short; so, I am jumping to the current end and asking for a favor from any of my OFP brothers who actually read the entire thread. Are any of the current versions scheduled for release in November 2006 going to have English language support. (Not "real English", American English ya'll! LOL ) I'll sort out how to get a copy. I have friends who travel "across the pond" a lot. They can pick up a copy for me. I can also download it if availabe or order it from amazon or where ever. @BIS: Stick to your guns and don't take any crap from Publishers, whinners, anybody. You rule. OFP is without peers, nothing else even comes close. Thanks again for all you do.

Perhaps BIS could be the publisher? They could make the developers penny and the publishers dollar? Yeah that's it! Start burning dvds in the basement, and/or offer ARMA online as a 4+ gig download! LOL.
