The BMP (Resistance), T72 (Resistance), and T80 (Resistance) have East soldiers for crew as opposed to Resistance soldiers. They act just like resistance crew (will shoot at east, etc) but when you kill them (if east) it calls it a friendly unit in the statistics menu. If you are resistance and kill them, you are labeled a team killer, but they show up as enemy kills in statistics. Dan

I would have to agree with Maraudeur. The G3 gets a lot of verbal abuse but you could drop it from an airplane and it would probably still work. The G3, the AK-47, and the FAL would be my choices. Why? The G3 is powerful and very, very solid. I just liked the overall feel of it. The sights are not bad. The rear sight is easy to adjust for different ranges but unfortunately it doesn't go up past 400 meters. On the other hand it is heavy and an ergonomic nightmare. AK-47... Well, because it is a no-BS assault rifle. You can bury it, dig it up a year later and it will still work. The cartridge isn't a high velocity varmint round. FAL.. Not my favorite but it was worth mentioning. Powerful, accurate, easy to maintain. Good enough for me. I don't care much for the G36 or M16. Mostly because of the cartridge but there are other reasons. Didn't like the feel of the M16 and it was nothing special to me overall. Good gun, but I liked others better. Haven't had experience with the G36, but I tend to distrust the spage age 5.56x45s that are extremely popular. The G36k looks like a good carbine. I wouldn't choose the G36 for a full sized rifle. The desert airport (and surrounding area) on the SE end of Nogova. Awesome. Just awesome. Desert and duney. It even has some ruins in it and a big cliff like hill. That is just great. p.s.- Why am I the only one voting for this?!

1. You can push other people through walls. (Just walk into them - they go right through.) Sometimes they seem to do it by themselves when returning to formation or etc. 2. Laser designator appears as Carl Gustav in gear menu (I have had this problem for a while - might not be from resistance. I would still like to know how to fix it.) Apparently you can drop the laser designator "ammo" too. I have not tried this yet, but I assume it would make the weapon cease functioning. Hope this helps. Dan

The stock part is bad, but you'll rarely see that anyway.

Reinstalled and fixed my jet bug. Strange. Before I reinstalled I calibrated the joystick, tested in game, and it wouldn't dive at all afterwards. Pushing foward changed the throttle. I made a new player to test with default keyboard configuration and it did the same thing, and brought up compass as well. Anyway, I reinstalled, applied all patches, then made a new player from scratch and fixed it.

I have noticed this bug: When taking off with joysticks in jets, you can't get the thrust above about 80% with the thrust slider. When you get it off the ground, the thrust slider stops working altogether. You have to use the foward button to move. Aside from that it's almost impossible to pull up now using the joystick. I also can't remap joystick keys...

It'll do some serious damage, it doesn't fire a peeny cartridge that's designed to wound people.. G3/SG1 is even better for multipurpose use. It'd be nice if you could represent it in game accurately, allowing to use the scope when you want to, and the iron sights when you want to.
