I have the same issue too AbortedMan! I thought it was just me and something to do with my settings, but I used Dslyexi's settings and it was the same. Brand new trackIR as well.

Well one thing A lot of Servers Host is Domination. Its a Co-Op Game mode where everyone is on the same team and the objective is to capture 10 Towns. On your map the town that needs to be taken is marked with a red Circle on it. Now your main objective is that town and you need to clear it of Any Enemies. (Armor,Infantry,etc) Also All the enemies are contained within that red circle so you don't have to worry about some random enemy wandering way off in the middle of nowhere to capture the town. That is pretty much domination in a nutshell, However I recommend you try hooking up with a squad down in the Squad/fan page recruitment forum. Playing with people you know makes the game a billion times more fun than playing with complete strangers in the same boat as you.

Dead people Can't report other positions to ALIVE people. That is the reason why the AI was able to target your position and fire within 5 seconds of you killing an enemy. I don't know about you but I'm Applauding BIS for fixing that bug. But I can agree on the AI seemly being a little too easy, Because There hearing has been reduced but there are many times still where the AI has X-ray Vision. The patch has its pros and cons for some which tend to even out for me.

I Would recommend this game to anyone! Its by far one of the best games I have ever played. However joining a Squad makes the game worth every penny. I can obviously see some of the bugs in this game but EVERYGAME has its bugs and eventually get fixed. Think of it this way, BIS released Arma2 early so when OFP2 releases, Some of the major bugs in Arma2 will be fixed. while OFP2 Will still have to deal with some major ones right off the bat. I Will continue to recommend this game because of the hard work put into it and its endless hours of fun it provides.

Asus P5Q-Pro E7200 @ 3.16ghz atm, Kingston 2GB DDR2-667 @ 800 HD4850 512MB Western digital 160GB Windows XP pro 32-bit I run at 1680X1050 and everything is now normal and view distance is 2500 which gives me at least 25 frames per second. At first I had everything on high and it ran at about 30+ frames per second until I started the chopper mission and then messing around with the editor and then it dipped down to 10 frames. So I'm hoping the 4GB DDR2-1000 kit and the Western digital 640GB Black I'm getting along with Overclocking my E7200 further will help me out a lot.

I was Happy that a demo came out so I could test out Arma2 before I got my steam copy, I was disappointed with how my system performed but I have 4GB on way + a new hard drive so that should add another 5 Fps + ill be overclocking my CPU to 3.6ghz from 3ghz so that will give a healthy boost. I've never played the arma series so I was immediately on awe of the graphics but also in frustration in figuring things out like why I kept failing at the boot camp shooting range when I shot one target. Even with all the frustration this game has caused for me so far I'm more than happy to say its a great game and I spent my $50 pre-order wisely. Now I'm just looking for a Decent squad to hook up with

Basicly it turns the AI into Chuck Norris. You wont see what hit you until someone told you it was a roundhouse kick.

Even though I don't even have Arma2 and have to wait till 26th to get my copy. I Would rather have a patch so some of the bugs are fixed and all the copies are united. I want a demo really bad but I would rather have the a more polished Full version once Arma2 is in my hands

I can tell you that Arma2 Wont have VAC because VAC stands for Valve Anti-Cheat System Which is Designed for games made by the company valve such as Half-life,Counterstrike,Teamfortress etc.
