  2. For those who have not been at gamescom I assure you that Carriercommand is a really awesome game. I would give the final game a try before i would demand my money back. Actually I helped out at the gamescom Stand of Bohemia and most players have been very satisfied with the game.
  3. I suggest a ratio of 500 Material income per 1 Production. (You can build nice gatlings with that) Set your stockpile to the island where you have the best production capabilitys (2/3 of capabilities are used) and set all other islands as mining/defense. If you expand your production take an island where factory < 100 * production.
  4. Hi all, will i get a e-mail when the final version (or an Update) is available? Its very frustratig to play, game crashes after 1+ hour. The barque gets stuck on islands and the units are very stupid (pathfinding) Regards

  10. What happens if you create a global custom vehicle via createvehicle, and another player joins via JIP ? Can you use this via __EXEC(mergeconfigfile ... ) in description.ext?

  12. Can the netlog file help here? Perhaps it contains information who did send PublicVariable or SetVehicleInit Commands ?
  13. Dear $able, i have doubt about security concerns with this new setting. I would suggest to reconsider this decision and search for alternatives. If possible, i would prefer to run only the battlEye Client as Administrator (not sure how PunkBstr solves this) or to switch this 'Admin Feature' of battlEye off. Please keep in mind that: - Even if you have admin Privileges, the client could run in a virtual machine which's memory can be accessed from the host system - The UDP packets can be modified, deleted or faked and it seems that battlEye does not check them for integrity (TCP would be better here) If possible please create a switch (e.g. config option in beserver.cfg) that each server admin can decide individually if he wants his server to check for 'admincheats'.   15. Dear bis, i own 2 licences of arma 2 oa and now i am facing driver problems. I cannot start Arrowhead because my Operating system does no longer detect my DVD drive. I have bought a Sprocket version of arma 2, which i used to copy the server files to the dedicated server machine of my clan. Can this version be deactivated and re-activated on my local pc? Or can i even unlock this version with a 'normal' key from the german version? Thanks in advance Regards Crowe
  16. After i have uninstalled the DivX player my DVD drive is being detected again. But it would be very interesting if you can play the sprocket with a 'normal' key from a box ;)

    Arma 2 1.06 Patch Suggestions

    Inherit CfgMarkers, CfgVehicles, CfgWeapons, CfgAmmo, CfgMagazines from missionconfigfile to allow the mission to bring tiny addon content. e.g. a mission maker wants to use a symbol on his map, which is not present in arma2. Would it make sense to release a 1 KB Addon then?

  21. Hi my clan has a problem. We use the arma 2 1.04 dedicated server executable. On certain missions almost all players are crashing. This could be because of the steerable parachute. But i am not sure at this point. Our server runs Windows 2008 Server Standard 64 bit. The gameserver is started by this command line: "E:\gameserver\jbtln_arma2_private\ArmA2Server.exe" -server -config=jbtln_arma2_private.cfg -cfg=arma2.cfg -port=4100 -profiles=profiles -name=SYSTEM -mod=@AL -netlog server.cfg arma2.cfg We have tried other bandwith settings too, but it did not help. The mission where this error is occouring most, is AL FL Brezino. Please help us to fix this error. Thanks in advance.
