  2. lmao, Anywho, so what I was doing was comparing the configs in the weapons pack with the configs in the weapons pbo of the 6th sense mod, and I got somewhat far but things got a bit too advanced and I sought out the help of the smartest armed assault editing minds I knew  I really hope someone can come forth with a solution (perhaps mr scubaman himself? =]) Edit: @Mabes, it does look a dib off lol, but im in love with the scar itself so I can live with it Edit2: I think thats actually a picture of the "ak47" version Scar, and it as such has that funky clip
  3. Haha, seriously, why do people like yourself bother saying things like that? The addon maker (ScubaMan3d in this case) Â was kind enough to slave over configs and a modeling program for weeks to bring such an excellent addition to the community, and Im sure he would like people to use it! The work is already done, I just want to figure out how to use it in game (without enabling the sixth sense mod which I already basically have installed, I use many of the additions it brings already, including its tracers, but I do not want to enable the entire mod to use these scars.)

  10. it looks no more complicated than a bis helicopter so far. Â That rubber sleeve can be faked using a normal map, though. Also, the rotor mast there would probably serve you better if it was blended into the same mesh as the fuselage, I think. I meant don't water down any details, im looking forward to a high-detail model (as I will have an amazing comp within a few months), but for some people who arent as fortunate as myself if it got insane perhaps tone it down and release as seperate version (kristien) and plaintiff, I think you may be very right about the rotor mass blended into the fuselage

    Even then... there is NO blood spatter over your eyes like that, if blood got into your eyes you would instinctively close them and wipe it out (would burn pretty bad)... Now if you were wearing a helmet with a plastic visor/mask over your face thats different, but even then... come on guys, lets be realistic here.

    Yea and Im wondering here (not really digging this up just to dig it up... I kind of just thought of this and wanted to ask), Is there anyway to say put in a sapper? Like a suicide bomber that would *run* towards the enemy and explode? (without the need of triggers and crap on your map)
  15. aacf sounds? LOL dude those sounds arent realistic at all. seriously man they sound like someone kicking a metal can. eagerly awaiting your sounds cham Ill 5th that, please.... I did however REALLY like the sounds for the harrier in the FFAA Soundmod chammy, you may want to check that out, it was pretty neat how you fired the rounds, and then heard them all exploding in the distance, you could really feel the power behind the gun.

    Sky Replacement

    Oh my! I have been putting off releasing my Science-Fiction Alieny Island (which I thought was pretty BAD ASS btw) just because of this issue, I didnt want the ugly sky (ugly for an alien world anyway...) interfering, I will look into this (May have to fire up the ol vistor and start working again ) I wonder if there would be anyway to JUST change the sky for one map....

    Ah I see, lol, Well, I had plans to incorporate Mapfact's radios into the mission and add REALISTIC artillery, and Cas support (mando bombs), along with changing out some of the vehicles to the desert versions and changing the units (although I decided against the units because this can easily be done with a replacement config, same with the vehicles). Anywho, so I was hoping to make it so you would need to load up your squad into your convoy, and maybe have a set radio-man with the frequency required to dial in your support and extractions and such. And if he dies, you would need to take the radio he dropped to call for extraction, that or you would need to run to a vehicle like a stryker or humvee. I was also thinking about throwing in the Uav and Mando missles (for air defense) have already been incorporated. I hit a small minor snag a while ago, and I really couldn't find any documentation on the Mapfact Radios, and so I sort of post-poned all of my work for a later time (plus im busy irl). I think it would be great to see evolution in some different environments though, would really add to the awesome mission.
  19. Well, anytime I fire a weapon I get an error like 'whateverweapon [launcherBase or M4Recoil]' not an array, and a little dialog box... then i dont have any recoil, its ANNOYING I think its an addon thats doing it, anyone have any similiar probs??
  20. Hello, Love the work youve put into this However, I believe I've found a bug/error. Recently I've been recieving error messages (found in this threadURL=http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=69;t=72115]here[/url]). In brief, the class definitions in your configs (contained in LoBoWeapons.pbo) may be incorrect. I am using 1.09b by the way, I hope you can correct any issues. Also, I am using other addons as well, so it is possible something else is interfering with your addon, but I am just letting you know the issue is present for me. I await your Megach 6 tank with anticipation
  21. Ah, It appears the problem is linked to "LoBoWeapons.Pbo" and or "LoBo_AAunit.Pbo"... I am going to check for a newer version to the Lost Brothers Mod now and if no fix for this error (v1.09) is found notify the creator, there is a myriad of configs in the Pbos and I'de rather leave them undisturbed. Edit: yes, I am quite sure the problem was in the LoBoWeapons pbo from the most recent release, notification in LBM thread.
  22. Darn... so I know it's something in my massive CustomAddon Directory... must have been something I downloaded recently... I've already pulled half the folder and I havn't yet found the culprit :/ Thank you for your explanation on how to fix the problem once I've tracked it down, I will be doing a manul fix instead of waiting for the addon creator to change Edit: OMG I may just kill myself instead, ALL I WANTED TO DO was play some damn armed assault with addons! And now because of some retarded screwed up mistake in a pbo somewhere, I Cant do that! Ughhh Ive gone through over 100 addons already... started up the game at least 30 times looking for this damn thing
