Does anyone know how to make the Ai F-35 take off from the carrier? I can get an Ospray to do it but the F-35 or Harrier just drives off the side and blows up.

I was going to get a Core i7 when I biuld my next computer as it performs the best but at £400 for the cheapest i7 I'm better off getting the AMD phenom II as its 30% slower than the top of the range £700 core i7 but at £170. best CPU is the best for your money and easiest to upgrade in the future.

Best intel core i7 is £700 pounds is around 20-30% faster than a Phenom II 3.2 £171 I was gonna save for a core i7 but when you compare performace per pound AMD comes out best and you can then upgrade it to a faster Phenom II in 2 yrs for another £171 and still more budget left over for a better GPU. -
If you also want Ai to use mortars in your own created missions script the mortar weapon class & ammo to a search light and the Ai soilder will attack far off targets atleast 1k away with his searchlight;) Just need to figure out how to keep his searchlight off during the night though.

Like he said its ammo in vehicles blowing up one after the other their all reaching cook off temps at diferent times like in real life but I would like it to have a time limit it sounds repetative. If they had added real physics on tanks instead of a points system it would lag an already hard to run simulator. Got to remember ARMA 2 is for very large scale warfare not 30 men 4 tanks in one town.

Got it to work but it when I try it with MK-84 bombs it says it cant find them. ---------- Post added at 04:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:08 PM ---------- Doh I know what I did wrong now I pasted in the mag class names and not the ammo class names better get the coffee in thanks for a great mod. -

I cant get this script to work does it go in the inisilization box of the aircraft in the editor? -
Thaught I was being stupid checking for another patch so soon very supprised. This is how real Flashpoint sequls have normally been buged but often fixed. Be carefull with patching downloaded versions sometimes they need a specific patch to that version and with Steam for example you have to wait.

Is their enough graphics options to get ARMA II graphics similar to ARMA I? I only want ARMA II for the massive AI improvements and content I can wait till I get a new rig to run the amazing graphics and I want to be able to learn the editor and check out the content while i wait for a new PC biuld.

I bet the CPU is the bottleneck your cranking up all the detail and distance way above what Operation Flashpoint used to be and we have only gained around 1Ghz since then with the CPU while the graphics have got 10x more powerfull. I wish they would patch it up with multithreaded ability so at least some of the stuff runs on the second CPU. Faster hardrives will speed up the massive scenery loading in and out. Puting the pixel resolution up magifies what the GPU has to already do so does antialising and shadow.

Ive been using FDF sound mod for a long time but i now prefair HIFI FX the battle sounds much like what it sounds on the news with news reporters imbeded with troops but feels not as complete and refined as FDF some of the distant explosions in HIFIFX can hardly be heard but the rifles are the best most powerfull sounding out of all the mods.

No instructions in the download about where to install the files theirs the @folder and then lots of other folders with no instructions on where they go????

What a fantastic addon very rare to see fan made weapons that look better than the Bis ones I wish there was an SKS in that pack then I could edit a vietnam with great looking rifles only. One problem I do have with version 2 is the An 94 mags give an error as if they dont exist or the readme is wrong .

Improved AI so that it has the impact the first OFP had. This time round would be so geat if the AI used buildings and other objects for cover rather than running head on into bullets. The Ai aircraft need improving  a lot  all they do is crash into one another and crash into anything higher than a tree we really need the Ai fixing so the aircraft fly higher and stay out of hrarms way. Would like to see all the important weapons basics covered  like mortars and artillary with  beyond  5 mile range. We need arircraft carriers and various other ships and the abilty  to swim and climb like real soilders do. Hand to hand combat and knives is a good idea one of us pointed out, someone moaned about that idea a bit odd considering unarmed combat is trained to every soilder and needed. What if you enter a door and someone grabs your rifle? Or if you need to kill quietly with a knife? -
The AI only open fire when the enemy get within 50m nearly point blank. Â Anyway to change its engage range for the Ai.

Is their a script to add to a vehicles init so it adds more armour points. If so could someone give an example. I want to convert as much as possible an M113 into a heavy APC like the ones that are converted from T-55 tanks.

I want an Archzarit or a BTR-T they are heavy armoured personel carriers or Infantry fighting vehicles that are converted from T-55 tanks.

Hi I got an addon for Avro Vulcan Bomber that I downloaded. It's got 20x 1000lb bombs that sounds powerfull when it goes off but I can't find the name of the bomb launcher or the bomb  so that I can script it in so that it carries more. Anyone know what the the launcher and bomb is called? A link to a very large bomb download is an alternative if anyone has one for the harrier please. thanks

I did ask the maker forr the weapon names but he didnt know which is odd for the maker not to know what he made for it. Makes a nasty explosion with its 2000lb bomb I just want to add the bombs to the other aircraft. And I never said I made it and I never posted a download link for it im just asking about the weapon names.
