Hi, I am sure as most new comers to the game have found out already when joining MP games online: Most public servers are over run by kids who think this is COD or think team kill is cool and they have no concept of team play. Also I am not a fan of Evo and Dom missions where in the name of realism, you spend hours waiting for transport (I already do that in the morning during rush hour!) and by the time you get to the battle field the battle is over and next thing you know your wife is coming in saying your time on computer is up! You plea " But hon I have not fired a single round go yet" goes unheared! Other option is to join a clan, which sometimes means dedicating time for practice and a bit too formal for some. If you are looking for a casual drop in, laid back relxaed MP with just a few mature people without having to say Sir every 6 seconds, then please post in this thread. I figured we can have 6-8 people in a fun semi realistic co/op and maybe PvP MP missions. So here is a top 10 list of reasons of why you should join us: 10. A great way to get out of house work .. hun I have to fight for my country! 9. You love saying stuff like "Alpha tango foxtrot bravo" 8. You can go to battle during summer in an air-conditioned truck umm .. living room! 7. You can eat a snack during battle. No more need for MREs (meals refused by etheopians) 6. You don't have to follow the Geneva convention rules! 5. Superiors may now be addressed as "Dude" 4. No more PE runs every morning because you can sprint 10 miles without a pause! 3. You will look great in BDUs (Battle Dress Uniform) regardless of how you look in real life! 2. Some of the women (and guys?!) look rather hot (don't ask don't tell policy!) and the number one reason to join us .. 1. Next mission: an all-out invasion of a women only nudist colony! The Only difference is, the AI is very aggressive and will utilize KILLER DOGS to track you down. Also enemy has working flash light to aid in their hunt .. along with a few other surprises ;) Team play is a must to finish this mission. The Hunt PvP coop. A coop group is hunted by human enemy who controls AI squads. Can a human be tougher than AI commander? Are you brave enough to find out? :) Snipers in the Jungle (PvP) This a mission for those who fancy themselves as snipers. It is a TvT (2 Russian Snipers vs 2 American Snipers) set in Razoreniya Island. Reason for choosing Razoreniya Island: Very dense Realistic looking jungle which is excellent for camo snipers! Mission has a lot of custom sound effects to add realism and emersion It has also rain script to make sure it is raining on all machines in MP! ONLY for die hard snipers .. or wanna bees! :) Show me the money Coop: Sneak into a Libyan town under attack to steal some money! Just don't get caught in the middle! We play on Sun evenings. Per some requests, we will be releasing a few popular MP missions. Some are Coop, PvP or Coop PvP. Some will be on large and loud Company level missions while others will be small fire team size stealth missions. The first mission is Breakdown. It is a Coop PvP. Which means a Coop team takes on a single human player sniper. Mission 1: Breakdown - PvP 1 vs. 4 Briefing: West: NATO outpost lost communications with an army HMMWV carrying a brief case with sensitive information. One team plays a NATO fire team, with objective of locating and recovering the briefecase and bring it back to outpost. (once you bring it back, you have to drop ot on the ground inside outpost.. The location is 2 km behind enemy lines and enemy reinforcments are on their way with ETA 10 minutes! East: playes a sniper near the crash site. His mission is to terminate of delay the west team till east reinforcments arrive! Mission is designed for quick action yet team play is needed by the NATO coop team, assuming Russian sniper knows how to play sniper! :) Estimated play time 10-15 minutes. You have been following an arms dealer closely by monitoring his phone. Something went wrong with the arms deal last night where $10 million was supposed to exchange hands! Your task is to become richer! Take your squad behind enemy lines and recover the suit case that has the money! The suite case is in one of possible 3 locations but it has a signal device that emits sound signals that can be picked up within 1,000 meters. You will also have access to our scanners that will let you know if you are within 2,000 meters from the suitcase. Once picked up, the sound signal will stop. However that will trigger a hidden automatic GPS. So once you have the suite case others will be able to lock on and track the suite case via GPS! The other side are also monitoring the arms dealer and we imagine they have the same passion for $$$!! Beware, you are behind enemy lines, the enemy has patrols all over the area. So watch out for the other side but also for the locals who not fond of outsiders! Team vs Team. Each playing a special forces team (Russian or American) tasked with recovering suite case in enemy territory. Changes: 1.2 fixed bug of when droping the case did not trigger ending sometimes. 1.1 removed teleport of player left while testing. The terrorists have given the US government an ultimatum: release their captured leader or the diplomat will be executed. The negotiations have failed and only 45 minutes remains for execution deadline. You are to lead an undercover SF team to town to mount a rescue mission to bring him back to base. Satellites confirm the diplomat is being held on a chicken yard next to the central mosque and is being heavily guarded. It is an undercover mission where you have to infiltrate a city and rescue a kidnapped diplomat. Once you have secured the hostage, proceed to the extraction point where a helicopter will exfiltrate your team and the hostage.As long as you do not fire your weapon you will be undected. Unless you enter the red zone then you will be fired on and hostage will be excuted. This is a tough mission that needs a real team play. Preferably at least 4 human players (up to 7 can play). Please note although the diplomat is playable, he should be only used by human if he acts like a drunken human after rescue! (you can team switch). You also have a Satellite at your disposal (at Black SUV) so use it wisely to observe enemy movement and plan your approach. (directions on how to use Satellite are on download page). Also you have ammo box at your start point. Evaluate what you might need in this mission .. If you are spotted inside the red zone (near central mosque), the diplomat will be executed immediately! There is a timer that will pop up every 10 minutes to remind you of the hostage execution deadline (45 minutes).The town is full of civilians so you must be cautious and avoid civilian casualties as much as possible. Thanks Demonized for the script, much appreciated. @galzohar: you are right the mission will end right away before script is even run. My way of getting around it, is to creat a "playable" unit somewhere on map so if all players die, player can switch to the last remaining playable unit for mission end. Not sure if there is a better way of doing it, but this seems to work. -

I have a mission with Objectives 1, 2 and 3 I want mission to end if player dies but not all objectives accomplished. The twist is the player is supposed to die in last objective so if dies after accomplishing all objectives he wins and if he dies with one objective not finsihed he loses. Any tips are appreciated. -

I am open for "constructive" criticism and feedback as long as it is done in constructive/polite manner. With a little bit of search (it is a function on this site!) errors such as No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgMagazines and No entry '.scope' and Warning Message: No entry '.picture' are ACE related errors that some users experience (something to do with weapons) it has nothing to do with this mission and it does not break it. -

Death before Dishonor Mission: You are Aziz, a Framer who just found out that his sister got raped, tortured and killed by a group of drunk soldiers. Now you are back at home with one thing on mind, make those responsible pay dearly for their crime. Before you go John Wayne however, you need a weapon first. You are a farmer with a small budget. So you will need to visit your friendly local arms dealer to see what your budget can get you. The arms dealer is willing to pay you extra cash for doing some of his dirty work. Once armed, you will be able to go seeking revenge. There are four men responsible for the crime committed. You will have to hunt them down one by one. This is SP mission, so no help and respawn! However, you will have limited ability to self heal yourself. Taking out each target is a mission on its own that requires a different approach. Some you will have to navigate around a mine field just to get to him, another will involve attaching explosive to his chopper and blowing him up. One will require infilterating his home to kill, while the last will require the ultimate sacrifice, find him, hug him and blow yourself up! Kinda the average day for a rebel teenager stuff!. There are side mission innocent targets where killing them will give added extra cash to help you buy more weapons. The mission has many custom sounds with intentions of creating an immersive atmosphere. This is first beta public release and any feed back is always welcome! Mission Tip: You might want to make Sgt. Romeo as your last target/objective as you have to use an explosives built to take him out. You can trying storming his tent earlier in mission, but will you be able to come out alive and finish rest of objectives? Survive, the dogs, the Guards, the Armor? If yes, then you are a better man than me! :) Now go hunting! Skip time only between certain hours

I have seen and tested a few skip time scripts, they are not exactly what I am looking for. I am looking to skip time 1 hour every 5 minutes between 6pm 6am after that script ends. Tried with triggers to start and end script with no luck. I was wondering if there is a simple clean script to achieve this? Thanks for your help. -

@Przemek_kondor for some reason it is not working. Is execVM "skiptime.sqf"; the right way to excute script in init.sqf? @kylania I thought with patch 1.6 JIP got skiptime update right away and everyone else got it after 30 seconds? -

I have tried the trigger and for some reason did not work. So I have tried executing script in init.sqf with execVM "skiptime.sqf"; but still no luck. now I have >18 and <6 as it is supposed to kick in once evening comes. So I am not sure what I have missed here? skiptime.sqf: while {true} do { if ((daytime > 18) and (daytime < 6)) then { skipTime 1; }; sleep (5 * 60); }; -

I need help with a mission where I need to attach sound file to all animals. So "fin" dogs will have a sound file. These animals will spawn half way through mission and was wondering if there was a way to attach the same sound file to all animals with same class name. Thanks for your help. -

Thanks Rav Raven. It works well except when the dogs die, the sound is still there. It is almost like having ghosts of dogs running around :) Anyway of disabling/stopping sound once the dogs are dead? -

Thanks Das Attorney for the script. After testing it seems to only work if you go into area with weapons in hand. You will be detected and fired upon. HOwever, if you go with weapon on back then switch to wepon in hand, the script will not detect you. How do you get the other side to detect you as soon as you get your weapon in hand? -

Anyone know how to detect weapon in group if they have in hand? So group will be set captive true as long as they have weapon on back but will be set to false as soon as they have it in hand. I have found a similar one with fire eventhandler but not the same. Any help would be highly appreciated. :confused: -
