Hey everyone, I am trying to attach a looping sound to an object which is simple enough. The issue is that object is pickable (can pick it up via action menue as an item). Once it is picked up the sound stops. Example: Radio with looping music coming from it. Regardless if pick up or not, the music will always come from it. Anyway to have the sound loop going regardless if it is picked or not and regardless of who picks it up?? Your feed back is highly appreciated. -

Thanks sxp2high. I have replaced files with the new ones but now the radio can not be picked up? I see it in action menue but it not working :confused: Thanks for your help. -

This certainly works well. :) A couple of quick questions: - Is is possible to make the carrying unit drop the radio automatically on the ground when killed (as in the other script) ? - Is is possible to attach a marker to the object (radio) (like sound) to follow it be it on ground or being carried? What is best map for a Large Scale Beach invasion?

Thanks sxp2high for your detailed response. I have tried but for some reason its not working and not sure what I have missed?? I have attahced the sample testing mission. Thanks James for your help. So to clarify: once "radio" picked up by player ?!(player hasWeapon "radio1") : player unit say "music1" Is that correct? If yes, what happens if he drops it ? what if someone else picks it up? how do you get it to play sound everytime radio exchanges hands?? The whole mission will be based on the radio exchanging hands between players. Thaks for your help. -

Yes it works with 2 teams. But the objective was to have 3 teams as it is Player vs Player vs Player where each player has a squad and all three have same competing objectives. Civlians are guarding a certain site against all intruders. I wonder what happens if I grouped an inedpendent squad grouped with a higher rank civilian and set civilians setFriend 0 with 3 factions? This should address the FSM issue? Hmm -

I have a mission idea where 3 SF teams from the 3 factions (TvTvT) Battle it on hostile ground where natives (civilians) hate and shoot all outsiders. I guess this rules out this mission. :confused: -

A few have asked if we can release this mission to the public, so here it is. Operation Desert Eagle Situation: A week ago a convy carrying a diplomat was ambushed and the diplomat was captured by the rebels as a hostage. The terrorists have given the US government an ultimatum: release their captured leader or the diplomat will be executed. The negotiations have failed and only 45 minutes remains of the deadline. You are to lead an undercover SF team to town to mount arescue mission to bring him back to base. Satellites confirm thr diplomat is being held on a chicken yard next to the centeral mosque and is being heavily guarded. It is an undercover mission where you have to infilterate a city and rescue a kidnaped diplomat. Once you have secured the hostage, proceed to the extraction point where a helicopter will exfiltrate your team and the hostage. This is a tough mission that needs a real team play. Preferably at least 4 human players (up to 8 can play). Please note alhough the diplomat is playable, he should be only used by human if he acts like a drunken human! (you can team switch) You also have a Sattelite at your disposal so use it wisely to observe enemy movment and plan your approach. (directions on how to use Sattalite are on download page). Also you have ammo box at your start point. Evaulate what you might need in this mission .. If you are spotted inside the red zone (near centeral mosque), the diplomat will be excuted immediatly! There is a timer that will pop up every 10 minutes to remind you of the hostage execution deadline (45 minutes).The town is full of civilians so you must be caustious and avoid civilian casualties as much as possible. You are the team leader so think carefully before you act. Will you drive through guns blazing? Use stealth approach? or ... :) Warning: The mission does have some strong language. Those who get offened easily should pass! If you finish it, I am curious as to what approach you used.
