My thoughts: Recoils are OK except for the MGs. Now, M240 = n00b c@nn0n (on maps where the M249 isn't available :P ). I've fired a 7.62 weapon (albeit it wasn't an M240 or PK) and the recoil is much more ferocious than 5.56 guns, which I have also fired (and agree that they have extremely mild recoil). Check on YouTube for people firing the G3, for example, or the FN FAL. It's a hefty punch. The fact that the M240 and PK can be fired accurately when standing is, in my view, nuts. Can't wait for 1.09, in any case. I do love patches.

G'day Jonny, please check your PM regarding your work. Oh, and btw - I saw all the models have incorrectly defined mouths - there's one point in the middle where the lips are joined together. Can anyone else confirm this? Otherwise, wonderful addon.

Small bug report - Self shadowing error on the Russian pilot - seems the shadow LOD is bigger than the helmet. EDIT - Loving it all. Great job. -

Hmmm. The best configuration I've got would probably be 1.08 with -512 or lower (I usually use 256), however, 1.09 has not yet suffered a single error after a 3 hour SP-fest, so I put that it. My brother grabbed SM: Galaxy, and the two player mode is actually quite fun (there are some certain levels where playing by oneself becomes almost impossible), far from being useless, like it seems at first. Wait until you have to play through again with Luigi! Quite enjoyable.

Not for me... as yet. Perhaps with the SP1 candidate things will change, but I'm still getting a farked-up screen when I load with 4GB, and I'm using 169.25 drivers. Â EDIT - No luck with RC1 of SP1 either. Back to 3GB <sigh>. -
Seems OK so far... no problems seen with LowPlants either...

Yeah, the Wii may be comparatively simple, but there ain't nothing so satisfying as KO'ing your girlfriend or mates in boxing.

Jump into your Queen's Gambit folder (or wherever the addon Models_DBE1 is) and extract Models_DBE1.pbo. Go into the anims folder, then the data folder, et voila, there are all the QG anims. To get 'em to work (for those who don't know how), use: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">unitname switchmove movename E.G. player switchmove m1s2wicks Don't forget to leave .rtm out when you call the animation! Thankfully BIS named the anims the same as the filenames. -

Ta for taking the time to write that, Sander - that helps me too. And I had to laugh where you mentioned backup copies - the number of times I've accidentally saved flattened stuff as PSDs, then almost committed seppuku... at least I learnt my lesson. :P -

Small update pic; got the rank velcro (rank patch forthcoming), MAV 2-piece LBH (on screen) and FLCV (clipped version) done. Next to do: - Rank patch(es). - ACH rear padding. - Kit, kit, kit, kit. EDIT - Picture: MAV (2-Piece) -
Concerning the problems you're having with normal maps: don't forget to also edit the alpha channel as well as the simple RBG channels! At a pinch, you can simply copy the green channel over into the alpha channel, though I'd recommend doing things the proper way.

Hit the nail on the head. I'm working, but getting this out in time for Xmas would require at least two clones of myself. Rest assured, I'm not going to stop working on them, but progress has been limited of late due to RL demands. Patience is a virtue, and I'm sure you'll all want to use Johannes' USMC before the Army arrives on the scene anyway. -
