for the moment i have finich to add a new averages desk on the u-boat status. we see the averages on u-boat hitparts and real time damage on this hitparts. a crews launch reparations on damaged hitparts if this hitparts is not totaly destroyed.- 305 replies

im really sorry for no news but actualy arma3 engine creating a troubls with setvelocity command and i can't foward actualy. i hope bis dev fix this problem and unstuck my project ;) -
hi guys i have one strange prob with addon builder. a compiling with binarize working very slow. a builder build with sucess full but for one addon of 84mo a builder working 3 hours for build it. Anyone known how fix this prob?

Dear ofp/armas community. With gachopin we have now a pleasure share yours this new released and ideas for working a great submarines mod for Arma3. a news released of warship mod is a first simulation of a ww2 atlantic battle for arma 2 OA. some features is now add in this release. stealth simulation and ASDIC tracking, performing IA for escort ships, u-boats and pilenwerfer counter measure. a torpedoes scripts is working on a torpedoes base scripts working by a originals authors Gnat and Mandoble and modifiate for simulating a U-boats torpedoes launchers. in this released you can switch on the 4 torpedoes launchers and launch 4 torpedoes simultaneous. news improved particles fx flak88 and shrapnels, water effects and 3d bubulles particles is add. the Hydrophone of u-boat working with périscope for identify a unkowns ennemies target ships. improved shader water fx with alpha chan and shadows for always show your u-boat under water. U-boats IA and escort ships d'ont need script or command lines for playing just place units on editor map and play :) a release include 2 U-boats type VIIC and 1 U-boat VIIB with improved 3d models and textures. A kriegsmarine crews and sounds FX and particles FX. yes a rendering on new engine is just awesome you can show a news on arma3 engine on forum. a news deepth charges fx and others ;) actualy stuck arma3 1.46 and 1.48 setvelocity comand is buged :/ -

hi guys exactly a A2 anim working perfectly on A3. you just need rewriting a config.cpp or d'ont forgot to add a model.cfg in your animations directory. -

exatly mate :) its for this a first released of mod d'ont simulate this and simulating only a sunk of surfacing ships because a torpedoes working by kriegsmarine enginers were studied for sink a cargo and tanker ships. i have implemented this in A3 for working one new torpedo core reference. i hope this core helping others addons makers for working a modern submarine with a good torpedoes simulation. in 1944/1945 a germans u-boat using a acoustic torpedoes and a firsts fights submarine vs submarine is born ;) if this fights are scarce they existed :) -

hi guys a new torpedoes core have now progress. hi have find and fixed a torpedoes launching and move, the torpedoes use now a perfect velocity on vectors and can lock the ennemies submarines under the water on _z axis. this is one great update. a released simulating now a submarine vs submarine fighting and working actually for decoys a ennemies torpedoes with pillenwerfer counter measure. -

hey guys i have find how enhancing a torpedoes launching :) now a torpedoes is exatly spawned on torpedoes launcher memorie point and velocity is apply on all vectors. this offert one very good rendering on the launching sequence. i think i can now trying to apply a position of target for define a depth of torpedoes and lock the torpedo on this damned _z axis ;) -

yes a kriegsmarine developed a first acoustic torpedoes. because a ennemies destroyers ships haved a very low water line and classic g7e passtrought under the destroyers without affected they :) a first g7e is developed for a big cargo ship which is very deep down in the water. -

no mate i understand ;) i use similar res lod with actual simulation. for the moment i just search if i can moving and lock a torpedoes on the _z axis. because the actual script lock a torpedo on the angle of target only on _x and _y i just need find how lock a torpedo on the _z axis same to others axis for working one real torpedo simulation. for missile simulation if you want make one fast model and model.cfg and config cpp i can try this :) if a result is positive i can modifiate this simulation. -

im not sure i need more exp with missile simulation. but i think if mandoble in a2 have working torpedoes with vehicle is because missile c'ant simulate corectly one torpedo. -

ty guys :) Chops yes i use actualy a vehicle for torpedoes, because arma engine c'ant simulate torpedoes. im not sur a missile simulation is one good way for simulate torpedoes because a torpedoes working only on surface or underwater. vehicle limiting a simulation at surfacing ships sinking and c'ant simulate a submarine vs submarine. because a setvelocity command c'ant pitch under 0 for move underwater. and a minimum value on _z axis is 0 (surfacing above water or above ground) im not sur if arma3 can now working a velocity of object under 0 value for pitch a _z axis of torpedoes. this is not real problem because during a ww2 u-boats hunting only a surfacing cargos and escorts for try to suffocate a england. at this date a fight submarine vs submarine is extremly scarce. -

yes but a mine need a target under range for exploding and d'ont explode if not target in range. the best is a shotshell simulation for simulating a depth charge :) -
