Having that laser there is an interesting idea at least. I wonder if there's any way to have only the part of the laser that hits something show up? That would make it look like a dot. That would be sweeeeeeeet! Just a thought... @Mr Burns Do you know if it's possible to swap the weapon models during a mission without adding/losing ammo? I had an idea like that once to add an action to "Attach m203" to the original m16, but it gave me a full mag even if I'd fired off a few rounds. I saw a very disturbing report on CNN (international) about the "High stakes testing" that was introduced in Texas a few years ago. Some politician (black guy, forget his name) was credited with miraculously raising the standards of learning. What had actually happened was he'd pegged District Supervisors' and school Principals' salaries to the students' results in these tests. Of course the teachers were under immense pressure to produce the results (or else lose their jobs), so the students were basically given all the answers to the tests (forced to cheat). THe report said that this "miracle" was going to be the model across the whole country.

Yes I love it! Pretty much discredits impartiality on the part of "The Scottsman", I'd be embarrassed to put my name to that. I agree that there isn't much drama in it for those of us used to more dissent in politics than the US senate provides, busy with it's rubber stamps. I also agree that it's ridiculous for the Senate to question Galloway's "feelings". There should be an impeachment underway now, not a charracter assassination of those who the US Senate should've listened to all along.

Miles Teg. I think I more level-headed, rational approach would be more likely to to win Mr Ferret over. As John Stewart from "The Daily Show" often bemoans, there doesn't seem to be much civility in political discussion of late. Just as the militaries of the world have to show they represent civilization and humanity by treating their enemy with respect and and prisoners with dignity, we too have to show those with whom we disagree that we have arrived at our view point from logical, rational process as opposed to spewing tirades of invective at them. Hard to claim to be rational and logical and therefore right, when talking of disembowelments. Know how ya feel though mate

Hopefully one better than those which saw fit to invade Iraq in the first place. WHY ARE THE COALITION FORCES IN IRAQ? I felt sick when I saw that arrogant, supercillious insect Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam Hussein, Washington's best friend in the Iran-Iraq war.

Sweet! These units look great! Seems like there's been a gap in the quality of released 'Nam units compared with other theatres and scenarios. At the risk of sounding like a ghoul... would this helmet flying off thing work with arms and legs too ? I like the sound of the deployable M60. The .30 cal system released with Invasion 44's demo was great. Are you planning something similar? I hope so! I'd love to see a machine gunner carrying the M60 with the bipod at the front raised (like all the others), then when deployed, the machine gunner is manning a pivoting machine gun (same weapon model, but with the bipod down), could use a better anim too... How about a bit of a suntan or some dirt on those lilly-white forearms? I hope you can get my point through all this drivel Oh one more thing...could you please create a magazine for the radio? That way you can select it via the action menu and (using eventhandlers) "fire" it to send a message/play a sound file. Could show up in the inventory as a radio battery perhaps?

After a couple of years mostly reading these forums and one and a bit teaching ESL (English as a Second Language), I thought it was time to reassure those here who aren't native english speakers that they do a great job communicating with us lazy english speakers, who, for the most part never bother to study another language. I often read clearly written, susinct posts and then see "sorry for my bad english" at then end, not having noticed any mistakes. Or perhaps you're fishing for compliments

If you have downloaded BAS's Tonal Island, the single player campaign included, has a cutscene at the start where a Mi8 (I think) does some thing pretty similar to what you looking for, while persuing some native malcontent on a motorbike. Maybe you could dePBO the campaign and have a look at how they did it?
