    No, JAM3 will replace JAM2 in the addons folder. I believe this is what JAM3 will be but still using the suffix of MAAM. I'm glad you chose to remove model changes. All or nothing, good stuff. Cap.

    I don't see why only these select few weapon models have been changed. It seems so... half arsed. I'm tinkering with replacing all weapon models/textures within data3d.pbo and data.pbo so as to never see a blocky BIS gun or silhouette optic again. In terms of JAM3 weapon models it should be all or nothing. Just my $0.02 Cap.

    I now understand and agree with those against adding models to MAAM/JAM. However I am still looking for a universal way of removing those infuriatingly shit silhouette optics.To all who would make future weapon addons... Please go to the extra effort of making decent optics for your guns. Cap.

    I think it should be both. Choose the best config/model/optics from the OFP community to represent each weapon defined in MAAM/JAM. Just my $0.02. Cap.

    Nice update cornhelium. Any chance of replacing all M16/M4 variants with Suchey & Earl weapons and optics? Silhouette optics are my pet hate of OFP. Cap.

    OFP Animation Sharing Center

    Nice (relentless) work on these anims Sanctuary. 2 things, I've noticed is that the way your soldier holds his gun looks excellent from all angles except 1st person. In this pick you can see the left wrist needs to be brought in and it's attached hand needs to be rotated till the gap between thumb and foregrip is gone. From that angle it would look fine either with or without grenadelauncher as you can't really tell the depth. The right hand needs to be moved to the right so as not to come through the grip. The second thing is there is a moment when you soldier glitches for a split second when going from 'crouch aiming to running/sprinting'. I mostly play between 3rd person and optics so I notice this one often. I haven't tried your new sprint anim(s) so I don't know if this fixes it. Other than that this is some excellent work and hope you continue. Cap.

    I may be misunderstanding something here but you can have INQ's wider NVG view and still have the default noise which is used by DXDLL. Or is it that FDF's NVG's are less grainy than the default... Cap.

    The Sliders in the editor (I think) do not influence rain, only overcast and fog. use a trigger with... <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">0 setrain 1 This will instantly make it rain at it's strongest at any time of the year. 0 is the duration it takes for the rain to reach the setting you put next, 1 is its maximum. I like INQs NVGs as FDFs seem too clear to me, however I wouldn't know I've never used them IRL. Cap.

    I haven't read this whole thread but has someone modified it to be more elongated rather than orb shaped? This may be unrealistic/unwanted, I've never seen live tracer rounds. Cap.

    If you're going to modify somebody else's work, you need their permission. People put hours and hours and hours into things. It's simply common courtesy to at least ask them before making use of what they spent so much time on. It's also their prerogative to refuse permission. But if no reply is given either way by the original author after several attempts at contact, I feel release with credits is acceptable. But credit must be given. Just my $0.02 BTW nice pack. Cap.

    Wasteland Island released.

    Fallout, Fallout 2 and to a lesser extent, Fallout: Tactics are (IMHO) the greatest RPG's ever made. The location and world design is excellent (if someone would make a Tonal sized version of THIS map you'd be my hero). Vehicle and weapon designs with that rusted wasteland look. The character development with skills/perks/traits, it's humour and in-game references to other media (books/movies/magazines/TV).   For a couple of years I've thought about a Fallout Mod for OFP but lacking any ability in O2 and limited skills in Photoshop and Configs, my options are reduced to hoping for it to be made. I did once make a mission that I never finished with NPCs, weapon shops, hotels where you could sleep/heal, random encounters, raider/slaver camps and a skiptime script so that 24hrs would pass in 1hr as fallout had that 1/2hr day 1/2hr night thing. I lost this mission long ago though. Anyway... I wish  Cap.

    No, but some could argue that the original campaigns are a new experience using Y2K3 or EECP. Cap.
