I kind of liked Arma 1, it gave me most of what I had expected from it, with less bugs than ofp but you can't really escape bugs, its always 1 or 100 that will end up biting your behinds A2 however seems to me very much better than Arma 1 due to all the extra content and gameplay improvements, and graphics is just 1/3 of the cake imo some of the screens make me think, this is a next gen game 4 real! Ok im not the most analysing guy out ther but I have seen a big improvement since A1, like the new civilian A.i, the bigger selection of units and weapons in the mission editor, campaign with multiple endings, playing campaign in Coop, new improved warefare mode. I dunno as a mission editing guy the micro A.i seems to be maybe one of the biggest joys wich I think will make playing the game a greater experience. I can't forget when I first saw the ass kicking new metal shaders on the huey the carry wounded, revive feature seems awesome, it's one of many community ideas that Bis have listened to. -
I think I have spotted the first A.i mod for arma 2 maybe already  but would't it be possible with a formation type in waypoints? like inf front, vehicle behind option?

pretty cool with new lightning lights up during daytime they got to have done some serious hard work to make it possible like that No wonder sys. req. will be a bit higher than Arma -
I would really like a enhacement to mission editor to select a area with a lasso tool ala photoshop and right click and choose increase or decrease height, maybe a box with some numbers.. Or just 2 extra buttons in the main mission editor interface, would been sweet to edot the terrain very little if you wanted to. But ofcourse its a crazy idea people would have to actually download the new terrain data somehow, and Im not sure if there is even support for a feature in the engine like this

the kamov looks I also have to agree that a Sla version would be cool but its your addon m8! You choice whats in it. It looks good from this ange but hey as you said Im not sure how good it looks at a close r view Btw will it have support for RKSl cargo script? would be sweet to use this for multipurpose operations.

best way to avoid shilka fire is to hug the ground  not litteraly but by flying close to hills n stuff. problem is of course if you miss your target/s and need to go back in the risc increases of getting hit by anti air soldiers or the random Uaz or hmw mg -

Correction, blame the citizens whom voted them in. @General Barron: that's awesome, its about time somebody stands up to our out of control federal government. Isn't it time for the goverment to act to help the people and not just pat the big companies backs like the goverment did under GB? Â I don't think Obama can do worse.. Â There is a new sheriff in town and he's gonna put 'em wall street people to justice. Â being a ceo its in america or so, now its time to make a run and leave the country

I think they done fixes to how they hold weapons seen it on some of the gc 08 stuff. -
I dunno would be cool, I dunno if its useless, could make a c&c generals styled mission where you call in special weapons like fuel air bombs and stuff

but then again, what about Flying aircrafts? will they suddenly stop from a hit into a skybox if reached?  That's the whole point, the skybox of the moon is more logical than a skybox on sides that prevent you from maneuvering in game area. what tells you can;t manouver outside the map? In ofp and Arma you could go outside the map into the almost infinite sea until you ran out of fuel, i know in ofp there was though a skybox roof that you reached after many minutes of flying to the sky  so I guesss you could drive or fly towards the mountain in the skybox but you maybe never reach it  but it looks pretty at least.  btw anyone tried to reach the sun ingame? -
looks really nice with the extra details like a racetrack, reminds me of some of the custom stuff people throw into ofp resistance islands like homeland island or aef phoenix or mapfact nogova with all the special objects like mining facilites and airport structures and more.

well its like I have moved to another country and I found at the company im doing my internship at is flakey and everything has gone a  bit downhill lately and now one of my roomies from my class says he can't take it living here so he wanna move back to sweden , and things been turbulent moving to another country where my room that i rent is small and i don't got the space with to much more crap in my room, to make matters worse half the room is covered by a rock hard king size bed, like the room is almost decent for one but 2 peopel??!. Â

yeah it could be decent, they're using a refined version of the just cause engine in it.

I don't know if it counts but i sometimes play C&C 95 or other westwood classics, and sometimes starcraft or civ 3 or transport tycoon. -
the thing is all Fps games have very few animations, sure there are many that can be activated for cutscenes ect.. but making a game with swords and stuff in it, weapon animations for the game gonna skyrocket 10 fold. Like doing animations for getting chopped with a sword or hit by a arrow and all kinds of stuff, but hey maybe one day. I remember once Bis devs said they wanted to make a medeival rpg once a couple of years ago. Rpg's aren't my genre at all but I think they got the engine, they just need to tune it a bit, the art guys would get bucket loads of work cause not much of the art could be reused from Arma, possibly some wooden , stone sheds or small cottages and landscape probably.
