I have been using VOPSound and I've been geting kicked or banned, and there are signed keys in it. But when I join using my own altered sounds I can join some servers.

just run from command line? nuxil had explained that earlier but I don't quite get it. I tried to use Eliteness with no luck, even placing the dll file into the system32 folder didn't work. I tried to pack a pbo file (the sound file heh) and I loaded it, the game loaded fine but i didnt hear any sound effects , just the voices.

Well I tried eliteness and I am still having a time getting it to work, I even dropped the dll file into the Windows System32 folder.. I am wondering if it can be done, download and burn it to a DVD for later reinstallment. Of course most likely not. I am just worried that if I purchased ArmA2 in digital download form, what if I run into problems later, or if I have to reinstall. Will i be provided a purchase code that I can hold onto for dear life in the future in case a terrorist drops an E bomb near me? Can anyone shed some light on this? ArmA2 is available tomorrow in the US, so far that is what I have heard. Maybe I should just purchase the DVD and wait for it to arrive. hmmm

Ok, i'm still getting the config. error, I used to know a way a round this or the patch usually fixes this, but am I missing something here?

Hey Binkage, haven't seen you online anymore aweful much heh Yeah, I looked up your CPU type and yikes, the price is up there too high for me to reach unfortunately. But do you really think I should try XP? I thought Win7 should be more streamlined by the end of this year or so. Hmm, how much do you think a OS of XP will be down the road? I had XP but now when I tried to install into my new system the serial number would not work. The guy I bought XP off of, might be locked up cause I have not seen his site anymore nor any updates from him or responces from him so I am screwed. :( Is it possible for me to OC my CPU with Win7? Or even GTX 285? Will I need to get another type of cooler system for the CPU? The stock cooler was a pain to install. Whats your GPU fan running at? I have mine at 50 and it runs at about 57 to 68 temperature.

I just played a few missions using VOP and I have to say great job! Although I noticed, not sure if its me though, that they sound a tad bit more metallic than the version for ArmA1, which was very good in itself as well although a little warmer sounding. Is it me? I have Windows 7 and I do notice the sound is much are clearer than XP, or maybe its the built in sound card.

Hmm, I did 3 tests, the first 2 were at high settings and the 3rd was normal, the test results were lower scored on Normal than on High or almost the same. Weird. Wow, that was fast, already a sound mod for ArmA2. I can't even figure out how to mod my own sounds onto ArmA2, unless it's the same as ArmA1. I tried this in the ArmA2 Demo and I kept getting an error "corrupted files detected" and ArmA2 Demo would close, so I figured ArmA2 full retail would do that also. Yup buddy and i got it, but ithink i had emailed you back, I've been so busy it's hard to keep track of everything. Btw, ArmA2 just arrived 10 minutes ago:yay: But I noticed that it does not have the insignia of any distributer like GotGame or 505games.

Hello everyone yes yes, I have dug up a mod that has since been 7 years old. I just reinstalled onto my new computer but I get the classic error: config/vehicle something something missing" My soldiers shoot from their hands when using this mod hahaha. Strange tough I never got the same problem on my old computer, but then again I do not remember updating the mod. anyways, i cannot find the patch or update anywhere. All the sites have errors or are no longer in existence :confused:

Ok, I was getting ready to buy ArmA2 from GoGamer and where the address input is and there isn't anything where it states what country they are to ship the game to. Am I not understanding the purchase? I am in the United States.

Wouldn't all this be because of different graphic engines apart from Crysis compared to ArmA2 and all other Arm, OFP games?

Ok, real quick here, im just about to buy ArmA2 from either cdwow, which is 35 buck!!! Ok, now is that too good to be true? Or what? It was 40. Is it because they are doing well? Or should I be concerned at all? GoGamer has it for 41 bucks.

So to tell me that there is a chance that the 505 version may not be encoded to work in US on my comp? I am reading some really bad reviews on CDWow

I agree. When I went to Fry's to upgrade, there were numerous options on what mobo, g card, cpu to get, even here, I was confused and in a haze. Even now, people say that I have a rocking set up and I still think it should be better. I still would like to play in full full settings, I can, but it lags a little. Specially on the demo when testing on the out skirts of Chenarus where there are no trees at all and I am toying with the editor sticking 4 to 5 squad groups on each side and man, does it get some video lag bad. But around trees its fine, even with Very High, although, when flying around on a chopper it kinda stutters along.

But what version is this? If it's US then I'm buying now. If its German or any other then, I'm not sure if I want to be stuck trying to get a language patch or such for it, unless there's one already available for it. notice I edited this Ok, I found out it will be 505 , which is what I have of ArmA1 , no problems there. Is there a language patch for this or is it in English at all? What would be the difference with US version, Got Game?
