K guys, im still alive heh, activity here seems to be slowing down now, I think I might have a weekend off with a little relaxation for once, I might be able to stick an update up soon enough.

Hey guys, I'm back, once again, it seems every time I get ready to concentrate on CSM something comes up, if it's not work, psycho ex girlfriends or legal bull**** it's an earthquake.....I guess that's why they call it life:rolleyes: Anyways, so far I have been testing out the versions, I see no problem ...yet, I am still going through everything. I will report back...

Which version of CSM and which version of AmA2 do you all have?

Yeah, it's 1am and I'm still up, fortunately my kids are asleep, but it is very eerily quiet outside, that worries me. Nothing but aftershocks here, small ones to kinda big but not as violent as that bigger one we had, man, I have been through some big earthquakes, but not as violent as this one. I feel real bad for those in Japan who have to go through this yearly, it's that ring of fire and we're on the edge of the plate or rim. But then again, the quakes have been coming from an area about 30 miles from me where there is a geothermal, info says that they dig and extract fluid and water but don't refill and therefore contributes to the fault area being so unstable. I think what you're feeling are all the little quakes that are triggered by this huge one earlier, the ones you're feeling are the ones along the Elsinore fault , which runs right down into the area the quakes have been coming from.

*sigh* well guys, yet again, more earthquakes hav struck here, i'm on edge again and cleaniung up in my house, its a mess. You know, I noticed something weird.....I installed EVGA Precision tools for the over clocking and all, and it totally slowed the performance of Arma2. Actually it made it worse. Can any explain?

Why is it that my game seems to run a lot faster in Very High than on Normal or High?

Ok guys, i got it to work, well, accidently, I kinda figured I needed ACE2 installed also as I think, ArmA2 looks for the ACE mod

OK, can anyone help me with this useconfig error I keep getting? What I did was make a folder and name it "useconfig" though, I didnt have to do that earlier, unless, hmm, I forgot. Anyways, I still get the error even with the csm2_clientside_config.hpp file in the ArmA2 folder or in the userconfig folder I created. Can someone refresh my memory? thanks

Hello everyone! I'm back! I had to reinstall Windows 7 with a genuine copy of the Home Edition (ugh) so I'm good to go. I just need to reinstall ArmA1 and 2 and my material and the rest of the other software and I will be up and running again. Felt like forever. I'm going over the errors and other issues right now listed here in the forums so bare with me with the time, also, Protegimus hasnt been around much so I have no idea where he is as he would know about the issues.

Thats quite a wallop of mods in one package.

Well lately I am able to use the computer but until 2 hours, it restarts, which is getting really irritating. Right now I am still using the RC1 7100 Build, I didn't have a previous OS on my computer, although, I did install a Win XP system but as soon as I went to finish installing I couldn't find the activation key for it, hince, I had a non legit copy, so I went and installed the Win 7 7100 version. I also do not have a legit copy of Win XP, when I bought it I found out later it was a copy. ---------- Post added at 07:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:58 PM ---------- Now if I was to do either, wouldn't I have problems later validating my copy of Windows?

I don't know what happened to Protegimus but he can help. If not I will have an update soon, soon as i get a few more loose ends tied up.

Well, I have a "copy" of XP, that's the only thing. i bought it off of an Auction site, I found out later I had to keep updating the version because of the validation warning kept coming up because it wasn't a legit copy, I didn't know it was till I received the copy, so the guy would send out details on getting around the warning every so often. That might hinder my ability to get an upgrade from Win XP to Win 7 if the system checks to see whether or not its a legit copy and asks for a serial number.

You mean the Home Premium of XP or of Windows 7? Ultimate is just so damned expesive though. SO really, there is no way to save anything on the computer right? Here's is what I am going to look like when the expiration hits and I have not backed up my files:

Hey all, I'm good now, the case was thrown out! woohoo! but now, im faced with another agenda.....buying a copy of Win 7 Ultimate and saving my files. I have until today 4 pm. Shit on a stick. SO I might be releasing an update today just to get one outof the way for the time being so I dont lose all my material. Does anyone know if I have to buy a whole new copy of Win 7 Ultimate , or can i just upgrade. I have the RC1 7100 build. I want the Home Premium but the warning says for me to get Ultimate. Heh, thanks man. Well, yeah, I have the Win 7 64Bit, had only 2 G of RAM and it still ran crappy, now with 4 G, it runs really much faster. I tried posting something in ArmA2 Forums and it was locked for not posting in a PC related topic, like here. Right now my computer is now shutting down every 2 hours, I thought it was only supposed to do that come March the 1st. Jipped again. So I gotta get a legit copy now before I lose my work. I just hear that XP is better for ArmA2 but I am hoping Win 7 will get stream lined soon.

I know that heh, but about now, what are the statistics on Win 7 and gaming? I( just added 2 more G's of RAM and it has improved the performance a bit in ArmA, a whole lot more in other games, but with XP, what's skinny on that?
