Please correct the hand position of most of the Pilots in Arma 2: in the helicopters (liks the Mi-24 or Ka-52) the pilot has both hands in the Joystick (Cyclic) and none in the Collective/Throttle and in the Airplanes (like Su-25) the pilot has both hands in the Joystick and none in the Throttle

Hi, It's possible for someone to do the export version of the Mi-24, the Mi-35M (used by Venezuela, Brazil, etc...) Hi, I was playing with my Joystick (Win7 Ultimate 32bits) without any problem, but after I restarted my PC and tried to play again with it was not working anymore, it's working with all my games but Arma 2. Could anyone help me on that? Thanks

In OFP we have the M1A1, since the M1 have a 105mm gun, in the game we have a 120mm gun in the Abrams. T-80BV - 125mm+ ATGM (AT-11/SVIR) (better for close combat -> powerfull) T-72 - 125mm T-55 - 105mm M1A1 - 120mm (better for long range combat -> faster) M60 - 105mm ..

It's a Machine Gun I think it's a 12.7mm.. the newest versions have a radar in the place of the mgun.

Someone saw, that the new russian MBT, the Nizhny Tagil New Main Battle Tank or T-95, 'll probally have a 152mm gun!!! Somy info: *Crew protection on the tank will be emphasized to a far greater degree than ever before in Russian tank designs. The level of crew protection should ensure its survival when the tank is hit by any anti-tank munitions from any aspect or angle, thanks to the crew placement in a unitary armored pod inside the hull. *A unique drivetrain suspension system is being tested on this tank that to a certain extent extinguishes the hull vibrations and stabilizes its position. *The tank still remains in Class 50 (i.e. it weighs 50 tons) and it shall have an even smaller silhouette than the modern Russian MBTs. *The gun will be a 152mm smoothbore tank gun/ATGM launcher. The development of this system started as far back as end of the fifties for the heavy tanks (originally a rifled gun, probably M-69). The project was revived in the eighties and the gun was significantly redesigned. Even with ordinary powders a very high initial velocity of an APFSDS projectile is achieved. I could not, unfortunately, learn how the caliber increase is going to influence ammunition allowance and rate of fire. *This gun shall be located in an unmanned gun pod on top of the hull with no crew access to it. This is likely to increase survivability and lower the silhouette even further. The fire control system will be multi-channel (optical + thermal + IR + laser + radar). *The carousel autoloader goes away. *According to plans the crew will consist of a 3 man combat structure and one mechanic (not unlike the air force crew structure), who will be responsible for vehicle maintenance and will reside in a battalion service and repair company. -------------------

Â boom.. sabot rounds hits era BOOM.. sabot round is blown off.. tank lives.abrams still out of range of T-80.. abrams fires again.. boom... no more ERA to stop it.. SABOT hits tank.. tank crew has big problem. of course the T-80 IS NOT designed to fight this way.. its designed to fight in more gown up hilly areas with shorter view distances.. where it could fire its hopfully 1 shot 1 kill 125mm at ranges it can be effective at.. and in the sudden encounters that take place in such areas.. survicing the first shot can be a metter of winning and loseing because a 2nd shot usually wont occur.. because someone will be dead.. on a side note both the A1 and A2 can be fitted with ERA aswell.. actually anything can.. ERA is just (basically) explosive sandwiched between 2 armor plates.. you can pretty much stick it on anything.. Â but like I said.. it will only work for 1 shot. also one very very important thing to remember: if your side has air superiority.. a tank is the safest place to be.. Â if your side doesent have air superiority.. or it is contested.. being in a tanks is the LAST place you want to be. Â I doubt that ERA or anything else could stop a mach 2 6 foot missle... or a 500 pound LGB...
