lol. Yeah right mate . Seems that the 'authorities' need to check their English. "Seize and Desist" should read "Cease and Desist'. In our country a new law has been passed that all heavy traffic such as buses and trucks are to use the opposite side of the road. -
That usually happens if you use pure white. Try using an offwhite. That should eliminate the purplish edges.

I tried to look at it, but it was already down  I was just about to PM you for it, I need to find out these things for the Rapier.  Check the Swiss Mod rapier. It used a version of the hawk proxy method. -

This is the older style radar that the model currently has. I think this was the version used in Vietnam. As you can see there is a lot of model and texture work to get this up to current OFP standards -

Not at this stage. I agree a patriot system would be cool. Anyway thanks for that pic.. at least I have a better idea now of the control system vehicle. On a related note: Has anybody downloaded the missile proxy tutorial for this. My mirror site has closed and I need to be able to get the tutorial back up. If you have d/l this could you zip it up and send it to me.. Yeah I know I shoulda had a back up... but shoulda, coulda and woulda doesnt help -

This system relies on the control center (radar) to work, which I've been able to psuedo replicate. The radar center I have at the moment is not really authentic, so I need to research that a bit (read: a lot) more. Also the service tractor has yet to be made. So that will have to be added to the research trail. I've had 8 of the Hawk launchers under one command center control and it appaears to work quite well. Once the command center was destroyed the missiles were no longer operational. The (OFP) system is basically designed to set and forget as far as defense is concerned. Was kinda neat seeing the missiles launch and the aircraft dropping their anti missile flares etc. -

As there has been no progress from the mod or indvidual I gave the Hawk to, I'll dig out the addon and continue with it. The system itself is basically finished as far as the command and control side is concerned (read: scripts), so its only the model that needs updating. -
The Falkland mod's new VTOL script doesn't require any user actions, and doesnt switch between aircraft and helo, yet the VTOL is very effective, and while in VTOL mode the player can change direction using the arrow keys.

One of the initial weapon systems I tested on the PT boat (it was just a test platform that developed into the PT), I had tested was the Falklands mod Rapier system. Even on a moving platform the rapiers worked well. I was going to test this further with other systems such as a vertical launch missile, such as the tomahawk. I had successfully launched one from a theoretical submarine, but that was as far as it got. Anyway good to see this initiative. well done. -

Since AKK PM'd me a day or so ago I've been experimenting to see the best way to implement targets using a version of DIB. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't get your hopes too high. Its a long way to fall and the landing isn't soft.

No you misread. The licensing was for the same version of O2 you have now. The unlock codes only unlocked O2 so it could be used. The fuctionality of O2, as far as I know has remained the same since it was first released. I presume the pictures that have been shown about O2 having other functions are for the full version that is used by BIS developers. Personally I don't know why people are demanding another version, especially when the majority of all addons made for OFP so far have been done with the current version. If you want the functions such as extrude, why not use milkshape or Max? Apart from that O2 is able to do everything else.. animations excluded... but ofpanim does thiis. -

I think you may be getting confused here with the way O2 was originally licenced. When O2 was first given to some mods and addon makers unlock codes had to be entered into O2 to allow them to use it and to extend the license as the original O2 was time limited.. Having been one of the orignal users of O2 this was how the licencing worked. Once O2 was made available to the wider public this function was no longer needed. I do not think any unlock code opens any further fuctionality. -

yep thing Class works well for setobjecttexture. Only downside is the mass has to be set fairly high to avoid having the things  (sic) bouncing all over the place.  -
