The lack of JIP was a big factor in my entire squad binning Flashpoint and Returning to Deltaforce 2 to await Team Factor to see if thats will be better. Flashpoint had the potential to be fantastic online with the ammount of varied roles prople could have, but its all lost because of the MP code. An objective based battle to rage for days if JIP was available, but usually a map get running, 1/2 the players dont like it and leave and your left with a game full of bots. The Perfect Body, with one leg chopped off. What a shame.

Between 240 -280 ping on my Whoppingly fast 28.8k connection, im in UK, and the ping is raerly over 300 even when connecting to US servers.

To keep those happy they see JIP as an evil force and would rather live without it happy, JIP should maby have/had/will have been a server side option so the person running the server can decide whether or not to have the feature enabled. It would be interesting to see which servers had the largest number of players.

I will pay for an add-on for proper multiplayer

Wasnt this post supposed to be about the lack of good Multiplayer??? Suma, since this post has got your attention, please take note that there are people willing to PAY fro a proper good multiplayer for Flashpoint. The current system is hopeless for decent sized MP games. Have you ever Played Deltaforce 2 or DeltaForce Land warrior ? Automatic map rotation, Ability for people to come and go as they see fit, its the key to bigger things on flashpoint. The current Setup is too lame to be a serious Multiplayer game. Its like making the perfect body, and then shoving the head of a Donky on it. -
You got to admit the iron sights look like they were bolted on using a kids Mechano set though. 30cm groupng is not that good at only 100mt, even with iron sights. I had to do 5 shots in /1/2 inch at 300mt with irn sights on a Lee enfield .303 to qualify as a marksman ( in the good ole days , when men were men, women were cooks and sex Slaves, ahhh yes, those were the days ) Wasnt impressed whith the SA80 when I had a go with it . Was very few in service then, Mainly SLR's still in use, and good old Sten guns.
-
There was more StenGuns than SA80 arround in 1985, so leve it be, and give us the SLR which is more inline with the period of the game. stenguns are fun, as long as your not serious about hitting anything beyond 5ft range

BIS or Codemasters did give an interview where they stated huge MP battles will be possible with up to 100 players per side, and online war would be possible, depending on Hardware in use. Now its like having the Biggest and Best fanciest Firework, but no match to light it. -

I agree, $10 ( or Å6.25 in the UK ) is worth join in progress allone. The other game types can be created by using the triggers and assosiated commands correctly. Come on BIS, get your heads out of the sand, this is the Umpteenth time this has been asked for.( something which it should have shipped with in the first place ) -

how can i convert a mp3 into a ogg
Col Rambo SBS replied to Casto's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Easiest way I found of converting MP3 was to use the .ogg plug-in for winamp . All you do is set OGG as the output on winamp, then all you do is load and play an MP3 and bingo, its converted. http://www.wiamp.com The plug-in is on the website as well. -
BIS were sooooooooooooooooo short sighted to omit this
-
What do you want the most?
Col Rambo SBS replied to Brentk's topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Its bloddy awfull that they omitted it in the first place. BIS have said in the past its not imposssible to add it, but there not going to do it. Personally I think it would help the game take its place where it should be.
