Astronomers have discovered a planetary system around another star that is similar in scale to our Solar System. It reminds them of home, say the researchers. Veteran planet hunters Geoffrey Marcy and Paul Butler are gradually finding planetary systems that are more and more like the one in which the Earth resides. The planetary system that superficially looks like ours orbits a star called 55 Cancri in the constellation Cancer. It was already known to have one planet orbiting it, also discovered by Butler and Marcy in 1996. blah blah blah read it all here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_2042000/2042826.stm

The problem was that Chamberlin thought he could go over to Germany and talk Hitler down man to man, too bad that didnt work.

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE"> America never even was repaied by its Allies, except for Finland<span id='postcolor'> Bolox! Brit was paying you back for world war 1 right up till the 1980's. Whereas a lot of other countries stopped paying BRITAIN back way before that '1933'. I think most people dont like the usa kus they watch hollwood movies that are utter crap. They watch these films and base their opinion on the USA afterwards. Films like Saving Private Ryan and Independance day where the yanx save the day etc and have all the other countries play a minor role pi$$es a lot of people off. Of course their opinion is based on the crap that hollywood produces so its not going to be a fair opinion. BTW I have a lot of friends from the USA and I think its a cool place.

The number of people playing games on the internet is set to explode over the next five years. About 114 million people are forecast to be gaming online by the year 2006, says a report by US market researchers DFC Intelligence. The gaming industry sees playing against opponents over the internet as the industry's new growth area. But online gaming is still in its infancy, with experts saying it will be some time before it becomes part of the mainstream. Infancy my azz, I have been playing online since 1999, and if I had a good connection I would have been playing long before that too. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_2031000/2031091.stm So it looks like things can only get bigger & possibly better.

I like to play on MS network gaming zone, eagerly awaiting CFS3. But I will have to pay to play right? As it wont let you on without a hotmail account thingy. WTF. Is nothing sacred? http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_2031000/2031026.stm Hotmail has joined the growing ranks of web companies that are starting to charge for formerly free services. From mid-July users wanting to check their other e-mail accounts via the Microsoft backed service will have to pay a fee to do so. The move could irritate many of the reported 110 million Hotmail users who before now have managed all their e-mail accounts via the site.

Lennox Lewis recorded a superb victory over Mike Tyson to retain his world heavyweight boxing crown in Memphis on Saturday. The British fighter won their long-awaited title bout with a stoppage in round eight. Lewis produced his best form to see off the former champion and in doing so confirmed his status as one of the great modern heavyweights. He finished the contest two minutes and 25 seconds into the eighth with a withering right hook that put Tyson flat on his back more pics http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport....037.stm
