yes its a simple fix. Just go to: my computer-my documents-ArmA folder and delete the ArmA.cfg file.

FRIGHTENED CIVILIANS BUG Civilians are scared of the OPFOR (even unarmed opfor). An Armed BLUFOR soldiers and Independent soldiers do not get any reaction out of civilians, but stand a OPFOR next to them and they will lay down and cry, literally. Heck, I even had the bus driver stop the bus, jump out, and hit the dirt at first sight of me. They do not act this way for any other class. They seem to ignore everyone but OPFOR.

I'm not exactly sure if this is a bug or justmy joystick acting up in ArmA, but it seems that ever since I increased the sensitivity to my mouse, the sensitivity of my joystick has also increased. If I barely move my joystick, the chopper whips that directon, same goes for the Harrier. Now, I know that people have posted how much they dislike the flight model, but I don't think my problem is with the flight model. I participated in a coop mission and I was the helicopter pilot. I was above the town or Paraiso and was straffing sectors with enemy with FFAR's. Just trying to hover in place was a royal pain in the neck. The chopper would not stay stable for the life of me. I do know how to fly, and can handle your standard remote control 3D choppers (3D meaning it can fly upside-down as well as rightside-up). ALSO... the rudder on the choppers seems to be too weak while at cruising speed and way to strong while at a hover.

Please don't use any addons when creating the mission. Using the stock units and structures in the game will certainly allow more people to join your mission. Question 1: Are you going to accelerate time or keep it 1:1? Question 2: What kind of respawn time are you going to have? Instant or a waiting period? Question 3: All real people? or are you going to give players AI to control?

That list of servers is actually pretty impressive so far. There are currently 80 plus people playing online right now. Thats awesome news for having this game only released in a few countries Just imagine when it gets fully released, it'll be so beautiful it'll bring a tear to my eye :sniff:

Is this what you think BIS should have done, or a mission idea that you've come up with? Either way, it seems pretty loaded with large and good ideas, but you gotta remember that with a free-to-go-anywhere game like OFP or Armed Assault, your going to have to put up with people that just want to do their own thing. It would be pretty cool to see this played out on a tournament event or something with people actually on TeamSpeak and working together for the good of the cause, but in a open server I just don't see it happening. Your idea is pretty good, I would like to give you some suggestions on different things you could do by email if you don't mind. For BIS has made with their CTI, or from what I've read of it, it sounds like a pretty straight forward, get to the point style mission. You idea would be praised, but the time needed to play and plan stuff out in a mission like that would take some time (this is why I think it would show its true strength in a tournament or competition). I am interested in hearing more.

I was wondering if BIS fixed most of the multiplayer bugs. These problems/bugs only show up with 2 or more people in a vehicle at one time. Did they fix: Helicopter gunner bug - where the gunner could not see any targets on his radar or lock on to anything, if a human was the pilot. Tank Commander bug - where the human tank commander would tell the human driver where to move and he would not see the waypoint, and telling the human gunner which target to attack and the gunner would not see it (it being the TARGET> symbol. Dismounting AI bug - if a human pilot dropped off a human player and his squad, the AI would not get out untill the human pilot would get out. Human pilot would be in his own seperate squad. OH-58 Laser designator bug - If a human was flying and a human was gunning, the human gunner would not be able to lase a target. The crosshairs would form a diamond but no red laser dot would be shown and no target would be available. (If there is no laser designating chopper in Arma, than forget this 1). Can't get there bug - The ai would scream "Cant get there!" if a human was the pilot (sometimes they would get in even though they said cant get there, and sometimes they wouldn't until the human disembarked). So... for those of you that have the game already, could you please test these bugs out for us poor unfortunate people that don't have it yet. If anyone can think of some other bugs that I am forgetting, post them here in hope that they get tested.
-
Any updates on any of these bugs from the guys who have the game already?
-
I don't really think that will be the case. If you think about it, DICE or EA could very well buy out BIS if they wanted too, but they don't. The nazi's at EA and DICE wouldn't bother wanting someone elses technology, when theirs is selling to the millions of morons on this planet.

Oh man... that had me laughing. Thnx for that.

There is such a thing UkraineBoy. Google it. Motion sensing is for animations of course.

Looks like you won't be needing a USMC mod for ArmA Jake Lucky.
-
On this part of the video, you can see the man in the back with his left hand going through the 203 launcher mod on the m4. Nothing much though
-
I didn't notice any Laser Designator vehicle. I hope this means they didn't leave out my favorite weapon Oooo... I like the new fire on burning vehicles. You can see it just after the scene with all the vehicles.
-
Artillery! woot woot. I can't wait. Also, did you notice the .50 Cal ontop of the M1? I hope its functional!
-
I like the centered aim. I think it'll be a nice change from OFP. Only thing that scares me, is that when a server disables the crosshair, that all a guy has to do is mark a dot on his monitor and he can hit accuratly without having to bring up the ironsights.

Um... stingers? Um... no crap. Thats what SVML's launch buddy. 4 in each launcher. The same launcher is mounted inside an armored box on the M6 linebacker. There are also 2 SVML's mounted on back of a Manpad HMMWV which the crew dismounts and fires the stingers off shoulder. Check you info before you roll your eyes at someone that is right. PS:
-
thats an Avenger. A HMMWV with a Turret and 2 SVML's (standard vehicle missile launcher) on the side and a rapid fire .50 cal under the left SVML.

Getting the dedicated server to use the "server.cfg" file and not the "sample.cfg" file? Getting the server to use mod folders? I have searched for these in the forums and found nothing. Any help would be nice. Thnx. EDIT*** found out how to change the cfg file... EDIT*** found them both out... Solution: change BAT file for .txt and edit it in there.

Not sure where to post this, but... After playing around with a buddy of mine, I was wondering if the bugged features in OFP that are already there where going to get fixed. IE: unable to lock-on hellfire missiles in gunner position. Unable to see waypoint that commander gives in armored vehicles. Unable to see targets called out by tank commander when in gunner position, also when pilot calls targets to gunner in chopper. (all example are for human players in the same vehicle) Little things like these, which are already in game, would really make the online play a lot more enjoyable. Being able to work together effectively in a vehicle. Right now, choppers (online) are only effective with 1 person in it. Having a gunner ruins the choppers ability to lock-on. I know that the regular poster in these forums doesn't know the answer to these questions, but if someone that might, or someone that has connections. I don't exactly need an answer, I just feel that if I don't say something, they might forget to fix it in ArmA
-
almost forgot the laser designator on the OH58 bug. Player pilot, and player gunner cant get the laser to work.
-
I agree, but I think that Anti-Aliasing and/or detail might be turned down. **To say 1 thing about multiple gunners. The only thing I would LOVE to see is a turret on fixed wing aircraft. AC-130 anyone

is there anyway to fix the CTD (crash to Desktop)? I tried the 0.3 fix but with no luck. Also... my buddies are being stuck at the rest transistion screen, when it goes black... then they CTD.
