    ArmA and CPU power

    I built a mission while running a E6400, every thing worked well as far as way-points was concerned, enemy appearing at the right time and place, that sort of stuff... I then upgraded to a E8400 and had to re-set a lot of the way-points to get the mission to roll out as planned. OK the mission was just a "way-point to way-point" sort of affair but it proved just how much things can change depending on processing power. Thanks...

    Same sort of thing happened to me when I installed my 8800gt. I managed to keep it going by swapping around the power lines in the case. Upgraded my 320psu for an Antec 550. End problem. You should have enough power to run 2D apps tho !??

    Built in Revives in ArmA 2!?

    That is only one face of the coin... I was the GI that got shot and wounded last night (revive scripted mission). The enemy had the area covered making myself an unacceptable risk for my team mates to come to my aid and fix me up. The stress lying there, hoping and preying that someone could get to me, was (to term a modern expression) Mega. I know also that my team mates were greatly affected by the situation. If in any way this is what the developers will be trying to achieve, I'm all for it (mind you its not really funny lying there in front of my computer waiting to be healed). I think that the fear factor will be immense. Team play will be improved. The word simulator will become a little more merited. Did anybody from BIS use the word revive, I don't remember so. I was so impressed that I thought it would be worthwhile writing a post taking the view from another perspective. Thanks.

    If you downloaded the QG build you have to launch through QG. If you do not have QG, download the correct build.

    If I'm not mistaken we have to kill the fisherman and take the boat. Well I put so much lead into his belly that he should have sunk anyway. I did reload my last save twice before, and found it impossible to do away with the fisherman, he was swimming in the water maybe this has something to do with it. I even jumped in the water and tried to capture the boat, (its full of arms and ammo btw), to no avail. Change the 10 seconds to load the last save trigger/option and I'll will play the the campaign again. As I said before I was really enjoying myself, to the point of thinking that "this is one of the best scenarios that I have yet played". Thanks...

    Good job, fixed & thanks. Has the ammo reload problem been looked at ? I just played the first mission in the 3rd world war campaign and my bazooka would not load/re-arm. Excuse my imprecision... EDIT :Mission 01 Landing = reload problem.

    I'm just getting this one error : Addon 'oac_bds_m60a3_replacement' requires addon 'bds_product' I'll get back if I work it out... EDIT... The m60a3 pbo that downloaded using Yoma's sync weighed only 4 ko. Replaced with the Armaholic linked pbo. That was easy.. Thanks. EDIT EDIT... New message = Addon 'Map_Weap'' requires addon 'Map _Misc'. To be truthfull I've put all the "extra AddOns in the main @oac AddOns folder. Is that acceptable ? No other 3rd party mods running btw.

    I haven't had much time to visit the Island because "I'm under heavy fire", trying to hold the darn bridge. Beautiful Island and as far as I can work out a nice little MP mission. Thanks one and all. PS, I ran the Island+MP mission+ the dreaded XAM, that was fun.

    Hello Walker, its me BoneBoys Next = how do I stop the civilian getting out of his car to check that the coast is clear? I've nearly done it by setting the way-point speed to "full" and behavior to "safe" while adding "this allowFleeing 0;" The effect that I was after was that when I get in the car the driver puts his foot down and gets the heck out of there. Is there a 'trick' to get that to work? The mission is done already but I would just like to know if its possible, for future reference. Thank you.
