The problem with BI is that they did everything in house, which means it wasn't solidly tested, or this wouldn't have happened. Next time use Speedtree.

Too bad Sprocket is a complete scam in some cases. Customer support for them is very unreliable. Tried talking to a Rep when I had problems with their ArmA download and I got an e-mail a week later with broken English.

After an hour and thirty minutes of playing, the mission solves itself anyways. Either he escapes into Russia, or you find him as he tries to get to the border in a red golf.

My game came with the later one, since I tried to download that and it says it's already patched.

Every time I try to click on it under advanced, nothing appears, adn there's no dropdown arrow for it either. It just sits on disabled. The rest of the game is running fine on Very High, but it won't let me turn AA on? :( ---------- Post added at 10:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:04 PM ---------- Odd, as soon as I turned Phyx (Or whatever the Nvidia thing is called), I was able to turn everything on, and got another FPS increase. I live in New York City, so I'm around a lot of black people, hispanic people, and white people. Since Australia isn't much of a cultural melting pot, you probably will have a harder time telling the difference. I cannot really explain it. It's not that they always have a deeper tone, but if I'm talking to someone on the phone, I know what race they are, lets put it that way. Here, this is the best way to put it as well.

When I said Marines don't talk like that, I'm talking about the script as well. They sound more like confused teenagers than they do Marines, especially Miles. How many times can one shout "Lets go Marines" during a firefight? Real Marines don't do that stuff during firefights. Cooper isn't too bad. He's passable, it's Miles that sounds like a 13 year old white kid. I'm glad I didn't have to listen to him for long. The way they also portray the 'American' accent is horrible too. We do not all sound like Larry the Cable guy. In the End, you have someone who looks like this: Sound like this:

I'm trying it now, apparently other people with my type of card are reporting 30+ FPS gain.

Cosmetic surgery never fixes that much.

My team members can spot enemies thousands of meters away, through mountains, but can't report them when they're close.

With me, the textures on some of the main characters don't appear at all, unless I pause.

I purchased my game from Direct2Drive, patch 1.02 My specs are as followed: GTX 260 Nvidia 3.2GB RAM 500 GB HD Q6600 Quad Core Intel Windows Vista Bugs are as followed, Unfortunately, most of them seem directly imported from OFP and Arma.: I had a woman come up to me during the Manhattan Mission, and I was talking to her like I knew her from the mission in Pusta. While I helped the Doctor, I never encountered her and had no idea who she was. She drove up to me while I was in Gorka after I finished with the priest. Textures do not load properly occasionally. My teammates will have white faces. Very bad optimization. The screen gets very blurry after I unpause the game, pausing it again and unpausing seems to fix it for now. Civilians often die when you first start the game after being crushed from spawning in their own house, when using the civilian module. Small towns are often more populated than whole cities, especially Chernogorsk, where I rarely encounter any civilians. Cars spawn incorrectly or improperly when using the civilian car module. It also registers Military installations as houses of people, therefore spawning civilian cars in bases. It said I cleared a Sentry camp in Manhattan, even though I never did anything. Triggers for missions go off and the wrong time, or not at all. When I captured Bardak and the other guy and the Ural exploded, the warehouse cutscene did not trigger immediately, and I stood there with my squadmates looking at clusters of their spawned avatars. UAV's do not work properly, or at all. When calling for an extraction, as soon as the chopper landed, it took off without any of us getting in and flew back. Sometimes my squadmates get in and I don't get the chance to, and it takes off. The Benchmark tool is missing from the full game. It was helpful in the demo. In the Hunter mini game from the Armory, I never once encountered any hunter trying to kill me as any animal. Even if I stood in the same spot for 20+ minutes. My team members can spot enemy APC's and infantry over 1000's of meters away in some cases, through mountains, but have trouble seeing them in close combat situations. The AI's (It should really be A, as there is no intelligence) driving is terrible. They often crash into parked cars and buildings trying to get around those objects, when there is often a clear way to get around them anyways. The interior of the APC's are messed up, just sit in the back of one with friends and see how you're all sitting on each-other.

Seriously, Master Sergeant Miles isn't fooling anybody. If you've heard him, you know there's a problem. He's the blackest person in game, with a white computer nerd voice. When I first heard him talking, I thought it was someone else. I'm not being racist or anything, but it would be like giving a fully grown man a babies voice, and visa versa. English voice acting in the game, in general, is pretty horrible. Marines don't talk, nor sound like that.

Infantry still shoots at Helicopters and Airplanes in ArmA 1. Do you know what they could do? At 3000 meters in the air, an untrained guerilla could shoot my helicopter down with an AK47 in ArmA 1. You can guess why they don't do that anymore now.
