  2. Come on doesn't anyone know? I mean if the AI can see through the grass and bushes why use them in CO-OP missions? Shave the grass and add more wrecks for cover, In multiplayer yeah the grass and trees are great realism but strictly for CO-OP. Superman abilities aren't doing it for me in terms of having an idea of whats real. Though I do appreciate that you answered me Enforcer.

    Ohhh ok well excellent when I read the improvements on the new patch coming up with the campaign it said many engine improvements I was hoping that would be across the board, and if it is great I think the additional down loadable content will keep people interested and buying more copies of the game and hopefully make it the largest played on the net. I will buy all of the additional expansions Dwarden being as you took the time to answer can you explain or tell me if we can ever expect to see improvements like glass that breaks. or more buildings that can be entered lights that go on and off indoors. I mean counterstrike offered some of these features and did not have the graphics that this game does why are these things difficult for us to achieve in this game?

  6. Im actually getting 36 fps which I like again since I went back to XP but the floor keeps disappearing its like all of the sudden i lose a lot of the picture? I am not sure what setting I can reduce to improve this and I am trying to replace my card but I want to do it with Christmas and I still want to play so if you know of anything to get the floor back in my game please shout out to me please,

    That guide is a good place to start but the editing forum is the right place in terms of the voice you need to be able to record it in an ogg format and then call for it through triggers or whatever.

    I read that sniper rifle booklet that was posted by carl and I loved it that's frigging great I am looking for other guides that help me understand how to use each gun their ranges and well anything that teaches like that PDF that was really good.

  13. Lightspeed thanks I will try that, that looks like an awesome way to go. I will definately be trying that, I am trying new AI addons now Glazohar I think I am going to try them independantly before adding in the UPSMON at this point. I am seriously thinking about just testing AI for a couple of months to really get down the features I like and understand how they will react with this script and on their own before trying to make a mission Getting AI to react realistically and look good doing it is an accomplishment worth waiting for. My questions on this patroling script though still kind of stand using UPSMON do the AI detect you to quickly??? I care about this mostly for making missions in the stealth kills, using silenced weapons I shouldnt have to shoot a guy 2 miles away we should hav a realistic idea of what we can kill and from how far away to be able to achieve these types of missions.
  14. I was wondering if any of the mission makers out here could shed some light as to which AI enhancers they felt were best and mostly WHY they feel this way. I want to make the AI within my missions as realistic as possible. I see Zues, SLX, and Group Link 4, I don't mind using them all together or just one of them but was hoping to hear from some people that used all of them to compare and understand the Compatibility issues if there are any. One thing I noticed in SLX in a video was that there AI solutions seem to use their own soldiers so I am not sure that theirs would work with custom models? Thanks in advance for the feedback guys!!

  16. When we come up to a post that has 200 pages or so can we use the search feature to just search that thread only? If I go to the Glx thread and say hey I wonder if there's any compatibility issues with Zeus or SLX can I search that thread only so I don't annoy people asking the same questions?

The AI seem to know more then they should and very quickly to does anyone find that killing ai with silenced weapons the other AI react before they should also I placed a trigger for a reinforcement group to reinforce after blufor was detected and a trigger to sound an alarm at the same time the reinforcements are always in the chopper and flying before the alarm sounds usually jumping out of it as the alarm sounds,
  18. This sounds really y nice one of the things I was wondering in making the AI so efficient is it also realistic when using silenced weapons that they do not react right away that it is realistic in reactions Also whats the verdict on combining this with Zeus and SLX?

I recently picked up the Virtual house position monitor and thats really nice but I was wondering if theres an easy way to get building heights and positions for the roofs say like on a shapur map there are alot of very tall buildings if I wanted to lies the edge of a building with sad bags maybe a static weapon or a sniper. Whats the easiest way to get the building information for the top of the roof this setPos ((position this nearestObject 33559) buildingPos 7) I don't know that all roof tops have positions if not how to I get the top height Also can I use a very small marker and UPSMON or something else to get the AI to look around at all 4 edges of the building without falling off?

  23. I believe I have worked out most of my kinks with this and it really looks good, however can I make spotters for artillery and if I place them far out and they see enemy can they and or will they call an arty strike?
  24. Well that robot addon is nice looking a little to futuristic for me but it was certainly done well, Hey can you mod a Harrier to take off Vertically like they are supposed to be able to do? That would be very nice especially since a lot of islands only have one airport. I mean that transformer airplane looks like it can do anything it wants.??
