For the extended armor, is the recommendation for it to be turned off apply mostly to PVP games? I play mostly COOP vs AI missions with my friends and I really don't mind the extra "armor" that makes it easier for me to survive against AI opponents.- 16577 replies

Has the STEAM Workshop version been updated? I noticed it was last updated back in September.

Is it just my Internet service or do Steam Workshop missions take a while to download now ever since the last patch? Whenever I try to start a STEAM WORKSHOP mission, it takes like 10 seconds or so before the mission is downloaded, and sometimes it won't even download the mission and I get the message "Failed to download Steam File".

Western Black Ops Player is no longer spawning naked or with invisible limbs, but now he spawns in some weirdly textured uniform. It's got this large red and white checkered pattern. -
I'm on the latest Non-Dev version 1.16.123633. I tried just now with CBA turned off and it happened again. I was remote controlling a few units here and there, changed my camera views and then when I got back to my player character my contextual menu disappeared again. I also notice that even my target cursor is gone. When I go back as ZEUS, even parts of that interfaces disappears. I can no longer see the editing area and non of my placed units have markers. I'm also on a non-dedicated local server I.E. my own gaming computer. I've played for hours in my own custom ZEUS mission and this never occurs. ---------- Post added at 23:10 ---------- Previous post was at 22:22 ---------- Okay I think I figured out what was wrong, not sure if it's to do with your mission or ZEUS itself. While in the ZEUS interface, I press backspace to toggle interface on and off. If I leave the ZEUS UI toggled off and then go back to my player character, my normal UI also remains off. So to fix it, I go back to the ZEUS UI again, toggle the UI back on and then go back to my foot soldier. I feel stupid now for thinking it might be your mission that was bugged :P Seems to be more of an issue with ZEUS.

There seems to be a bug when using Western Black Ops in my ZEUS multiplayer mission. Whenever one of my players spawns as a Black Ops trooper he has no cloths on except for the vest and sometimes he spawns without arms or legs. Respawning with a new loadout or wearing new gear fixes the problem. I also notice that in multiplayer (or at least in my MP mission), the Black Ops units tend to have FIA gear and I don't notice any of your custom pieces of clothing at all. The custom weapons don't seem to be affected though. -
Okay I think I figured it out. But I just wanna be sure that I did the right thing, so what I did was I created to files from notepad in my mission folder. I named one file init.sqf and another description.ext. I leave init.sqf empty and I copy and past your respawn lines to my description.ext. I tested my mission in multiplayer as a soldier with access to the Zeus interface and I was indeed able to respawn myself both at the respawn that I pre-placed in the editor and the one that I created from Zeus. So yeah, thank you sooo damn much for your description.ext lines :D One thing I have noticed though is that at the start of the mission the player also has to choose a loadout, but that remains empty until ZEUS places a Loadout Respawn. Any suggestions to make loadouts visible at the beginning? Also, slightly OT, but ever since I put in description.ext and init.sqf in my mission folder, my load screen says UNNAMED MISSION. Could you tell me how to fix that? Thanks again dude.

Yes, I want to create a custom ZEUS mission for exporting to Multiplayer with ZEUS generated respawns functioning for any human players that joins my mission. So in the editor, I should open my Mission Settings window and type this description there? I've never made missions with functioning respawns before, I thought simply having the Game Master module present would make respawns possible.

So I created a custom mission with a Zeus Game Master slots, editable player slots and non-editable areas around players. All of these seem to work except the player respawn that I place on the map. When my one player died the mission ends and he had no option to respawn. Does there need to be more than one player present for the respawn to work?

I have Defiance Altis from Steam Workshop & CBA add-on running. Just happened again for the second time. Maybe about 30 minutes into the match, switched from my soldier to ZEUS then back again and I am no longer able to access my context menu via the mousewheel.

Just encountered a bug where I switched from the ZEUS interface back to my soldier interface I can no longer access my squad command menu and my "mouse scroll" menu. So I can't get out/in any vehicles or open doors.

Is anyone else having performance issues when spawning CAF units in either MCC or ZEUS? My FPS drops significantly for a few seconds whenever I spawn any CAF or CAF Aggressors unit in both ZEUS and MCC. I have no issue with other custom Add-on units. -
How can I play this coop with me and a friend as BLUFOR vs INDFOR A.I.? If there are no human players on the INDFOR slots will AI just take over?

I'm trying to make it so that the ZEUS interface can recognize playable characters I've placed in my zeus mission. I have both the GAMEMASTER and ZEUS virtual entity present and synced to each other. I've read that to do this I place an "ADD EDITABLE OBJECTS" module, sync that module to the game master module and then sync each player character to the ADD EDITABLE OBJECTS module. I do this, and it does not work at all, I can't see any of my pre-placed units in the ZEUS edit menu. What am I doing wrong? Am I retarded or something?? Could someone please give me a step by step on how to make my players become "editable" units? ---------- Post added at 04:02 ---------- Previous post was at 03:41 ---------- NVM, figured it out. I have to name the GAMEMASTER and then type that name into the ADD EDITABLE modules field where it says "assigned zeus name".
