This. Before thinking about things like the OP suggest (which by the way is already featured in some mods), I think the accuracy of unguided AT rockets (shot by AI) needs to be set right. I don't think it's OK to hit even land vehicles with an RPG/M136 from 500m with 99% accuracy.

This is also a very nice idea, civilians are neglected these days anyway - last unique civilian pack is made by Schrapndosel, and it was back in ArmA 1.

Hi Firewill! I think as long as you bring such content into the game, no-one will bother about how good your English is :) What I'm mostly looking forward for are the modernized Iowa-class ships, I think it's something that many wanted to have but just didn't tell about that much. Also looking forward for this project. -

I was browsing weapons in ACE ammoboxes, and MP5 cam right after Mk48. It (MP5) played the same sound as the Mk48 in single shot, but different sounds in burst/auto. Update: Since then I've checked an other ammo box, seems like some ACE ammo boxes have broken weapons in them. Taking it from "US Army weapons" boxes instead of "USMC weapons" solved the problem. :confused: Others I've found so far, HK416 SD rifles don't play any sounds, and M8 SAW plays default M249 sound. -

@Alex.XP Good to see you sorted out the problems and returned :). Losing VME mod would have been a major loss on this side of the world. @SladeUSSOCOM Regarding the sound of the M4 three round burst playing M16 sound, maybe the inherit for them should be re-pathed to another base class? Because I've made M4 config back a while, and I also had this very same issue with it. I don't know what your config looks like, but the inheritance might cause it playing the M16 sound. Maybe this ACE2 ticket might give you some ideas on how to fix that: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/14305 Edit: forgot some little bug: MP5 single shot plays the same sound as the Mk48 firing sound for me -

Thank you very much for it, very nice work, I especially like the new layout for Lipany. Only thing that may be worth to be considered, that towns could have more building density in them, and maybe the bigger cities might be expanded a bit beyond their OFP sizes (maybe some details like jaywalks). Of course only if you wish to continue upgrading the island in the future. About the missing texture issue, are you running CAA1/OAC mod? because that can give some missing texture errors... -

Blastcore removes all the ammo from the LAV-25's M242, at least together with ACE2 it does. I'll check out if its standingwithout ACE2.

In most cases it works, but BMP2 and M113 are just way too resistant against APFSDS/KE rounds, hitting them in certain areas as many as 5-6, even more than 10 times does nothing not just with the vehicle itself, but with the crew also. There's a little such problem with BTR-60 also, but at least it can be taken out much more easily. Most light armored vehicles (BRDM-2, ZSU-23-4, Stryker, LAV-25, AAV7, BTR-90, BMP-3) are taken out by the first shot, if not with an "overkill" but at least it'll start to smoke, will catch fire or part of the crew will get killed, or start bailing out. But BMP2s are just laugh in your face and re-paint the camouflage where you've hit them with a Sabot round... It must be something wrong with the base A2 model, because Vilas's BMP2s behave with much less problems. -

Yeah that would be about OK to shoot right through canvas parts or even very thin layer of metal, but as far as I know, KE rounds are also ignite the air within the crew compartment when breaking through the armor, but in this case not only the BMP reamins unscratched, but also its crew is laughing while launching rockets and surviving from 5-6 to infinite direct hits from APFSDS rounds (not just M829 but all other ingame). I just don't think that 98 percent of the KE rounds will simply go through a BMP2 without ANY kind of damage caused. -

Looking for other users' confirmation. Seems like there's some FUBAR with the armor system. I tried firing M829 APFSDS rounds at different types of targets, T-72s are usually blewn up from the first shot, but T-55s often need two shots to at least disable the crew. BMP2 has became is almost invincible from M829, especially when firing at it on the side (takes 5-6 or more shots just to hurt the crew), wether M830 HEAT rounds will usually kill them outright. So anyone experienced that BMP2s can take more shots from APFSDS rounds than a T-90? -

Nice effort PoorOldSpike Two things: 1. You left out the Mk153 SMAW from the BLUFOR inventory; 2. Parallel to what Xerxes said about the different RPG-7 warheads, both the SMAW and the MAAWS have two types of warheads - HEAA (high-explosive anti-armor) and HEDP (high-explosive dual-purpose). Good luck with it! -

Congrats on this release, I'll download and look at it tomorrow. Maps in this size are something that are missed and only rarely can be seen in the game (speaking of A2 of course). I'll surely will keep an eye on this project, and Ilhas Africanos did wake my curiosity :) Hope this answers your curiosity. -
All I can say I tried this and it solved my crash problem too. On a sidenote, can anyone tell me why the newest Creative Audio Control Panel keeps reverting to "7.1 speakers" setting from "Headphones" setting? Before I take out my Audigy and torn it into pieces and condemn Creative for a whole life?

And just to calm you down: They will be repeated over-and-over again from time to time... Also people left out that black Blackhawks with Miniguns mounted on them, AH/MH-6 Littlebirds and CH-47 also with minigun are SOCOM assets (160th SOAR). There's also Humvees decked out for SF, quads, SCAR rifles, HALO capability and many other things can be used for an all-out "Tier 1" mission. The only thing that lacks is the possibility for "OMG we're spinning down in a chopper" movies/intros/outros and ultracool voice actors....

Well...Fallout 3's DLCs might had more content....but they weren't cost only $10 when they were released... Edit: once again, despite the lot of mods around, there were a helluvalotof request for the Brits to be made into the game by Bohemia. And despite some person's loud disapprovement, BAF was a huge success, so BI decided to continue with DLCs. They said before that they are curious how well DLCs will turn out, it turned out for them pretty well, so the story continues...

Also, I have to say I don't have anything against China, not one drop of malice, but I think it's a bit of absurd to say that an aircraft carrier is purely for "defensive" purposes. I know that China doesn't plan to invade other countries, but an aircraft carrier is not a defensive asset in nature, but I understand that they want to keep up with the other local- and superpowers. ...Well only if you think that the best defence is attack :) -
