Changes compared with OFP :
1. Realistic Animations, Landscapes, Textures, Shapes, Esthetics (I want to see the bricks fly and hit a soldiers head when a Sabot hits a wall and see the building crash down not just like some kind of twisted sheet of paper, windows blow when I shoot at them, a guy hit by an Heat is atomized, the vehicles fall apart instead of deformating them like buildings, clothes on soldiers move for example when there is strong wind and the leafs on trees move too, u get in a car by opening the car doors, I want to walk on grass instead of a green carpet, trees explode when hit by a Sabot and a guy next to it dies (or gets blind), water reflects your image and there are some waves, clouds are in 3 dimensions not 2, the list goes on but I'm running out of ideas for the moment...)
2. Interactivity, more real behaviour (possibility to dig out a hole to hide in on an open field, break some tree branches and cover yourself with them, move ammo crates, load them on trucks, carry wounded soldiers to ambulances, no more magic medic who heals soldiers just by moving hands in the air, soldiers can use medical stuff themselves for example taking morphine to stop pain so they concentrate better on targets, helicopters can carry vehicles, your radio can get damaged, if u keep running you fall down sooner or later because that's what happens when you are very tired and wounded, bleeding makes you unconscious unless some medic stops the bleeding and gives you some vodka to drink (for example), your weapon can get jammed, one of your cars tire is down and you can change it, radio communications are on frequencies and not on colors, commands through a voice recognition system built in the game so you can talk to close units and stop typing on keyboard, possibility to form a new squad (without scripting the thing when mission is done), when piloting a chopper or tank or any vehicle you can see details about all the indicators that are on the panel : altimeter, tachometer, oil pressure..., you can take clothes off from a russian soldier and put them on etc.)
3. More units, weapons, vehicles and other stuff (better AI, not super AI who shoots your ass from behind walls, I like weapon parameters on briefing, more accessories for example like in Splintercell for the BlackOps : sticky camera, flash grenades, better night vision goggles without the big "pixels" flickering, heat vision, etc., join in game multiplayer,
I don't know if all these things will be in OFP2, maybe some are not totally needed to make a realistic game. So what are the things you would put in these three categories. If you all post the things you'd like to find in OFP2 we will then see what are the most asked features and there is a relatively high probability that the BIS team will take notice of it and try to put it in the next game they are preparing. I invite you to post your categories.
