Tested, nice improvement. Lags like hell when flying tho, atleast when the view distance is greater than 1 km. And did I hear someone asking about the temple and radiomast grids? Well, the temple is at BG26 and the place where the mast is is in the northeastmost corner camp.

After short test drive, seems like a really nice island. Hilly but not too hilly. You can take full advantage of VITAPC's BTR-80 here. There are steep enough hills to make it actually hard to drive ontop (though less than 60 degrees ain't a problem). Big open areas, so I think I'm gonna have interesting battles here. Thanks.

Well... Apocalypticas version of Metallicas Nothing Else Matters is excellent, pretty good to create kinda sad mood. It's played with cellos and nothing else. Excellent... song, though no singing there. Just listening to Poledouris' music. He's gooood! Everything from Hans Zimmer suits well. In most cases. And LOTR soundtrack has some excellent, well suiting songs. And naturally, for low-fly chopper missions... Gary Moore's Over the hills and far away! Chateau from Matrix was good. And Vangelis' Conquest of Paradise.

Might be a bit hard to move around though... Did you know that if A380 would have wingspan about half a meter greater, it wouldn't fulfill airfield regulations?

I haven't seen any clips of the maiden flight yet, but I'll see the real thing in about 2 months, in Paris Air Show.

My thoughts for equipment: Possible western equipment: M60's, maybe M1A1's or similar. Possibly older Challengers. Hueys, maybe not Blackhawks, few Cobras. Some Littlebirds maybe. Chinook? Super Stallion? Not sure. Gazelles, Pumas and Cougars would be excellent. F-4 to F-15, maybe Tornados. If they go for a long-age investiments, F-16A's and Hornets. Mirages would do well. A-6 and A-7 etc. would do, aswell as Harriers. One or 2 Hercules' for transport. Atleast few Dakotas... For infantry, M16's, FAL's, G3's. G3 would be a good choise. G36 wouldn't be bad, or L85A2. But they are rather poor, so... Naturally MP5, or maybe UMP for Specops. Handguns might be Berettas. LAV's, M113's, older Bradleys for mechs. Maybe Patria vehicles. Maybe HMMWVs, Land Rovers. 5t trucks, doubt HEMMTs. One F-16C costs about 27 million dollars. Possible eastern equipment: Tanks ranging from T-34 to T-72. Mi-2's, maybe earlier Kamov's. Mi-4's and Mi-8's would be excellent. Su-25's and other earlier Sukhois, earlier MiGs, maybe MiG-29 if they get money... MiG-25 wouldn't be impossible. Antonovs for transport. For infantry, AK's, RPK's and PK's. AKS-74U's for Specops. Tokarevs for handguns. Mechanized infantry would use UAZs, BMP's, BRT's... And Ural trucks. OK I'll go now.

Just tried 'em and wow! I had no problems with them. The weapons are rather detailed (not everyone) but... And the units... excellent. Kinda missed the Nomex suits with CQC units but... This'll do as well. Excellent. Thanks.

2:30 mins to go, 70% done... They look excellent. But, are the nomex suits included? Anyway... Nice. And I assume it's compitable with the old pack weapon tags?

Yep, we have the "alternative service" here, too... "Civil service" (1 year), the other 3 are "normal" service (about half a year; half of civil serv.), "weaponless normal" service (same than "normal") and going to jail. Some, due sickness/other physical/mental reason, being a Jehova's witness or having good enough reason (extreme pacifists) to deny army service, are released from duty. According to what I've heard... apparently 10% of young army-going Russians have "severe sickness" then... And about China vs Russia reserves... Due the mandatory service in Russia, the reserves are much bigger. Reserve=non-active soldiers. So, when the active Army service ends, they become reserves. In China, it's a job, so there ain't much reserves, 'cos they stay in the Army and then retire. I think.

Maybe he/she forgot few zeros from the reserve-part? But anyways, PRC's active duty strenght is "only" about 2.5 million, making it the biggest army in the world. And the calculations don't include paramilitary forces. And it depends, how you define "reserves". Of course, if China goes to war and needs more men, that shouldn't be a problem. But in Russia, according to what I've heard/seen, it's mandatory to go to army. And the service time lasts about 2.5 years. In China, it's not mandatory. But they still got the world's biggest army. Remember, China is developing country. Many young people, atleast in cities, desire high education nowadays. If you have high education, work abroad vs PRC army career, which would you choose? Doesn't sound that strange to me, atleast.

According to fas.org, Russia has about million soldiers in active service and 20 million in reserves. Total force, ready: 21 million. China has over 2 million in active service and about half million in reserves. Total force, ready: 3 million. So, in active and reserve manpower, Russia would win. But China has more to recruit. Their weaponry isn't that different (I think), so it would balance things a bit.

Sander... Those links of yours... Bloody hell! Especially the city with des. units... I have enough right type parts for most of those vehicles! My "tank"... Is no longer a tank. More of a... mortar/artillery. Due the space the manual gun elevator takes, the tower is huge, about 10x8x7(or in "flats", nearly 20 high)... So it's big. For a Lego. Do you guys consider a 2.5 m tower an accomplishment by a 11-year-old kid? And, oh, forgot to mention... I also made hand-fitting (well, Legos...) guns. They didn't fire anything tho, but... Well...
