Hmmm... The Benelli sounds interesting, especially due it's easyness and cheapness, because there are no batteries or such needed. I heard that the stock version is a bit long and that the pump is a bit heavy to operate, but with bit of practise those 3-bursts will become very "deadly". Is the pump heavy? And any experience of how well does Tigerstripe blend in to Finnish landscape? And anyone know where to get cheap and real Russian uniforms in Tampere? Cheers.

About 2 months old thread... I guess it's OK to post? OK, few of my friends are reviving the thought of starting to play airsoft. If the group is OK, game area is found/OK and my money situation is OK, I might start it too. I live in Tampere, Finland, in case there are other airsofters living here, too. For clothing/camouflage equip., I'm thinking of getting a BW uniform (summer of "normal", with parka), a full mask (paintball mask, covers face and ears; don't fancy pain), some kinda tactical vest. For head, a Flecktarn or black boonie sounds nice. For shoes, "crosstraining" sneakers or military boots. Mask might get covered with scarf, and face might get camo paint. Gloves. For gun, I'm thinking of Marui's AEG's, mainly MP5KA4 (cheap & good, they say), Steyr AUG and the pricey and long, but beautiful, M-14 in OD. Prices range from 230€ to 425€, not including batteries & charger. Other considerable choises are, Marui's too, Benelli M3 and SPAS-12 spring-action shotguns (3 shots/pull, each from it's own barrel) and gas pistols, especially Beretta Model 92FS Elite, sold as "Tactical master". I have a cheap, low-power, old spring action Beretta for backup weapon. So... it would be nice to hear some tips and opinions. And this is a nice topic, too.

Wow eddyD - you really did take the "empty carrier" comments seriously. But anyways, it's a good shot. Nice amount of planes, not the most realistic though (F-4/F-14/F-18?) but nice. Good job IMHO.

This little fella was trying to pierce my leather gloves. I had to shake it off to keep my gloves hole-free. Just a Finnish forest. Was taken about a week ago, the others today. But, now...

Been streaming Amon Tobin's Chaos Theory (yes, Splinter Cell 3 soundtrack) lately. It's veeery nice.

It is the finnish air force tradition to outperform (*cough* brewster *cough*) with underperfoming planes, not the other way around. Yeah... Juutilainen, Wind and others... great men... *Finlandia hymn* Would apply for FAF, but glasses...

What about non-NATO? I heard Finnish pilots are pretty good...

700 exp. is nothing, on SFhospital your honour will increase fast so you can play has SF sooner . Go for the RPK has IF, you can get some kills in cqb with it, just dont be caught in the open by someone with a 203 and a 4x acog scope, try to survive the rounds and give medical treatment to your team members. After you reach 20 honour points you shouldnt have to worry about honour anymore, just be carefull to avoid friendly fire and colateral damage. I used to play Hospital, i always try to pick a rpk and give my M4 to the VIP on escort, then go for extraction thru the garage back exit and clear the helipad, it was fun if the players were mature, civil and friendly . Yeah, thanks... Actually I did what you said, played SF Hospital few hours after my previous post, before you told me to. Got 16 honor ATM, and I do like the modable M4!

Hmmm, very nice. Now I'll have to decide whether I use the or Gaia airport textures on my (possibly) upcoming island...

Well, showed the OFP nightsky to my mate, he's a bit better "star-spotter" than I am. The island was FDF East Border. Well, we did find few familiar groups. Very impressive work, BIS! Also the "nightless night" effect appears, as it's sunrise/sunset at around 2 am in late mid-June.

Hmm, they look pretty good. NKVD? Will bring... something for WW2 battles.

Ah, thanks, it worked after slight modifications (I had given the wrong .pbo name, for example). Now I have to learn how to make roads...

Hello there, I started making my 1st island few weeks ago. Nothing special there yet. Anyways, after many tries, I managed to import the island to OFP somehow. But when I try to start mission editor, I get this message: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">No entry 'config.cpp/CfgWorlds.mytest1'. When I choose the island from the list, the same message appears and the map is Desert Island. I assume that the OFP config is missing few lines, but I wouldn't want to edit it.
